That's BS.... People have a responsibility to treat others right. If Tracy had a responsibility not to feel intimidated, then Marco had one not to project his arrogance onto her.... You can't wash one hand without the other!!! Sure, there is the old saying " you can't control how people treat you, but you can control how you allow them to"... That doesn't negate the fact that someone actually has made you feel a certain way!!! Just because you like someone doesn't mean they get a free pass to be a bully. No one deserves to be intimidated, but they sure have a right to feel it when it happens!

The Gospel, which means the Good News is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. The one God is a trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and laid down his own life to save ours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him. John 1:1,14 KJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD. [14] And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us, 1 John 3:8 KJV He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Isaiah 9:6 KJV For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty GOD, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and THE WORLD KNEW HIM NOT. John 3:18 KJ He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Actually, A bisque is a creamy seafood soup that is normally made from Shell fish and is puree’ed. A chowder is a cream type of soup where the seafood is not puree’ed and may also have vegetables in it and is thickened by a Roux or Beurre manie(butter and flower blend). So it’s not a matter of it being in a French restaurant there is actually a difference between the two.

Honestly, it’s easy to be intimidated by Marco. He’s the man who made Gordon Ramsay into who he is today. He’s the youngest chef to win 3 Michelin stars, then give them back. This man is the real deal. He’s probably forgotten more than we’ll ever know. What’s even worse is he has this calm anger which is far more scary than Gordon’s yelling.

With Busqou dead, and Jiro at 97 years of age, Marco is *literally* the worlds most prodigious name in cooking. Yes Jiro has him beat, and gods save us from the day when Jiro is gone. But Marco is alive and kicking across the globe. Thank the stars for that: Humanity desperately needs more of his ilk.

You can see the passion Marco has for these aspiring chefs. Hes honest but uplifting. When he tasted the lemon chicken dish, he complimented first and THEN gave minor criticism and said "The crisps. Just a little bit of salt." First instilling confidence but keeping it level as to not create over confidence and ego for the woman. The world needs more Marcos around.

Really interesting. You can tell where and who Gordon Ramsey learned a lot of his knowledge and skill and style from. But the biggest difference is approach. Gordon just pushes…without hesitation. Marco always “asks” first before he pushes. Such a difference in style. Granted it’s a show but their pushing and “tempers” when cooking is real and I sense that Marco gains just a tad more positive morale and respect from his cooks.

We are lucky enough today to have so many great chefs like Gordon Ramsay , Heston Blumenthal , Rene Redzepi etc etc.. we were also lucky to have greats like Michel Roux , Anthony Bourdain etc etc but we are extremely blessed to have Marco. There will never be someone like him. He transcended all other chefs not only because of his food but because of his outlook on life , his Philosophy his ambitions that drove him and he shares that. Blessed are we who have intelligence enough to absorb that. Seeing this video and how he motivates people , raises them up , helps them grow , gives them confidence even when they have none is something beyond amazing and feels super wonderful. Something like that can only be achieved by someone like Marco.

I am 62 and am currently learning how to cook "properly" - out of necessity, as my sweetie works in the mines, but also as I have the time due to being early retired. I think Marco did the right thing by chucking in his 3-star rating - it forces you to cook in a certain way, and you're limited by the appearance of your dish. I have to admit that some of the grottiest looking dishes my wife and I prepared were in the end the tastiest. When we dug down on why we discovered that inadvertently we had respected the individual ingredients and cooked them unknowingly to perfection. This changed everything for me, and whenever I cook today I examine and think about each ingredient & component of the dish first, aiming at bringing out the best of it. And it works...even with the humble fried potatoes (aka Bratkartoffeln). However, I believe a much more inspiring approach towards the MasterChef contestants would be not to scare them shitless, but to mentor and support them in their efforts. That's where Marco - despite all his talents and achievements - could tone a bit. Just saying....
