I tried the Fresh Foam X More during a holiday in Europe where I did 15 miles of walking per day, and it absolutely wrecked my feet and I had to get rid of it within 5 days. At first it felt like walking on a cloud, but this turned out to be a bad deal for long walks, and I am a heavy guy. I think the excessive cushion, bounciness, and lack of stability makes it only good for a short walk or just casual wear. I don't think it's a good fit for someone on their feet all day.

I just got into running a couple months ago. I have been using the 1080's on paved road and the Hierro's on loose gravel. Just added a Propel to my rotation and am looking forward to the comparison. @momo.ru-kun Жыл бұрын
too much squish is actually bad for you, without any arch support, it can cause fallen arches or flat footedness and may cause long-term inflammation, stretched or torn tendons. What the foot needs is support and enough rebound or cushion much like zoom air. This is why NBA players right now have so many injuries compared to the 80s that wore canvas sneakers and 90s that wore air cushions. These foams don't strengthen your foot, it may feel good right now but in 10 to 20 years, they will tear your feet. It is best to have some firm shoes on rotation. My foot actually collapsed and I'm fairly light for my height, it took about 3 years wearing air max to get my foot to heal and get the arch back. It was horrible, every step was painful. I only used my yeezys when walking for long hours, then almost everyday i wore air max 1 or 90s to maintain that arch support.
@alfaralph7710 Жыл бұрын
I personally love extra cushioning but I recently bought some flip flops with extra cushion but zero-drop and it hurt my ankle in less than 10 minutes. My conclusion is that the drop is very important for shoes with extra cushion, so I buy comfortable shoes with higher drop.

I’ve been wearing my pair of Etnies everywhere for everything. They are a discontinued pair that I can’t get anymore. Very simple pretty comfy but they are a mess. I just started looking at the most comfortable shoes regardless of design. Allbirds was coming up. Good return policy so I try them - nup not for me. Hurt my feet immediately. They could be gos for some but not me. I start seeing running shoes. I check some reviews write down some to check out. Try the Bondi 8 - holy shit never seen or felt a shoe like it. Will probably grab. I go down the other end of the mall and the sports store has the more V4 half price - but 1 size down on what I’d normally wear. I try them… maybe slightly small than I’d like but at half price I grab. At least I can try them for a while to see how these type of max cushion shoes work for me. It’s hard my feet are bad but so far so good I think. Shockingly comfortable especially in the hell which is west I tend to step more. Wide (I need wider) wide for. Regular size but geez they are working so far. Thank god that’s all I can say. Will be grabbing the Bondi 8 in a wide size and the wide Gel Nimbus 25 probably. I just received my Hierro v7 gtx and SuperComp Trainer and I received my Nimbus 25 yesterday. The Nimbus 25 4E feels wayyy better than the normal width which is too narrow for me. The Hierro v7 gtx surprised me and I'm happy with how comfy and stable it is. Lastly, the SuperComp Trainer...DISAPPOINTING! Not the shoes but my feet. They're the most comfortable shoes I've ever felt in sitting position. Other than feeling the best while sitting/standing, the SuperComp Trainer is a nightmare for a heel striker like me who have slight underpronated(supination) feet. It makes my feet wobble when I walk/run. The Invincibles 3 have the best cushion for walk/run for heel strickers like me but it's too tight for long wear. The SC Trainer is going to be my work shoes since I sit 9+ hrs/day. The Nimbus 25 is the overall best shoes I have. The upper feels almost like the SC Trainer, the midsole and outersole feel almost like the Invincibles 3. The Hierro v7 gtx would be my outdoor side jobs shoes(mechanic, cutting grass, fishing...).

I DO NOT recommend wearing the supercomp trainer for a daily shoe!!!!! The SC trainer has a carbon plate which WILL WEAKEN YOUR FEET!!! The carbon plate makes your calves and feet work less, making them weaker the more you wear them. These shoes are specifically for distance runners going on long runs or other workouts. They're good running shoes and carbon plates are fine if you wear them in a shoe rotation, but definitely not advisable to wear casually (for walking around or daily training). Not to mention they're way more expensive than normal shoes, along with having less durability than a normal shoe. They're not meant to be worn every day, so they will wear down after a lot less miles than a normal shoe.

For me the Ultraboost DNA Lifestyle Line deserves the credit for the Ultraboost Series. In my opinion these 1.0-5.0/ DNA Lifestyle Series represents the original soft Boost Feeling. Better than the UB22 etc. In comparison to Invincible Run they are still in the game, just not as big sole wise as the Nike or NB Fuel Cell but still the cushion is at least almost the same and deserves to be in conversation. They’re running shoes - the ‘curl’ is part of the rocker design that helps with momentum and energy return. If you don’t want the curl, you can always get a lifestyle NB which are flat

Thats the best of the shoes mate, some gentlemen shoes also have that toebox curl and it looks elegant and lifts up your outfit

The Rebel V3 is insanely soft. So soft that when I first tried it on, I almost lost balance. I couldn't believe that it will come a time where I had to return a shoe that is too soft. The Rebel V3 is just too soft to provide reasonable stability
