Not a mention for Sir Geoffrey Hurst, who was the first football player to score a hat-trick in a World Cup final, and remains to this day the only (male) football player to score a World Cup final hat-trick without penalties (let alone two)? Not even the obvious mention of Sir Bobby Moore who, besides being the captain of that World Cup winning squad, also has perhaps the most iconic photo/moment of English football history in that image of him lifting the Jules Rimet trophy?
