Finally someone aside from myself has stressed the imporrtance of having extra screws. In many cxases I replace Phillips head screws with HEX screws. I consider all your advice invaluable, however imo the main thing most others never address is the issue of screws. Excellent video. TY kindly for video and the links. Happy trails.

Hey! Thanks for your comment! I could not agree more! The amount of time I have been fixing a RC car and lost a screw and have to drive a hour to my local RC shop to get one is crazy. Having a kit like the one in the video has saved me so much time.

@@WickedRemoteControl Agreed. When I mentioned replacing phillips head screws with HEX heads, I am mostly refering to "Hosim" trucks which I still like, but havent bought in a while. Part of the reason is I have had phillips head screws break on them and be next to impossible to extract. Also on their undersides the heads get grinded down and thats just irritating af. Anyhow great video. Happy trails.

6:00 talks about high quality tools and then buys cheap crap off Amazon. Seems like an oxymoron.

What are you confused about? Milwaukee drills are not “Cheap crap”? If you’re talking the hand tools. I’ve had the same set for about a year, and have had no issues. Not everyone can afford drills in addition to their rc cars. Maybe you can. But not everyone

@@WickedRemoteControl "these bits are just random bits that i got off of Amazon". Ie. cheap crap. 😂

They have stood up to anything I have thrown at them. Used on impacts to undo nuts on my 8s outcast while I heated it with a torch. If they can handle that without breaking they aren’t junk.
