It was so stupid that it wasn't. Sure, that was the U.S Army's rifle (along side the laser rifle) but they could have at least has the NV Service Rifle as at least that was supposed to equip National Guard troops. Why did the NG on n the commonwealth have incompletely different rifle? At least they could given us a lore reason.

Something I always felt was missing in fallout 4 was an inbetween of pipe guns and the factory mades because despite the idea that society is slowly rebuilding, that also means that gun crafters can make do with the added protection to make something less rough looking, yet still a rough sheen.

Yup that Browning HP 9MM Pistol Mod is a damn good Mod, and have been in my LO for a few Months. I have the Modified Turkish Version in 10 MM as my EDC. Very Nice, and Very Reliable. I've fired about 20,000 Rounds out of it over 20 Years, hasn't Jammed or Failed to Fire Once, and I only had to replace the Springs Once. Really good Solid Handgun I recommend purchasing.

I prefer the HK G3 family mod However, I don’t The name G3 when I just pick it up, it doesn’t really fit in with like 10 mm pistol or caravan pistol or the combat shotgun, you know that kind of fallout four style day convention. I just wish there was a similar to the defense rifle from the 556 collection for the HK G3 mod and as I said, before, I am terrified of going to FO4 edit. Sidenote, this is just a stupid rant.

Personally I would go for the smaller MonkeyDepot Thompson mod, just the laser one which blends fairly well the attachment pack, as long as you use the camouflage paints. And a great mid to late game laser.

Yup the 9mm is on my list. I put the Colt 1911 as well, but I like the Browning Hi-Power even more. I also have a pipe gun replacer but a different one (post apocalyptic pipe gun replacer) . I use the CR74l from creation club to solve the assault rifle issue. I do not need a lever action shotgun the police pump action ( believe you're familiar with it!)I is fine. For me I do not like Anti-Material rifle as it's too weak. For the .50 calibre recommend the Desert Eagle. Good video

The AMR too weak? What Dak is recomending is the F4NV version, not the creation club one. The F4NV AMR starts with a based damage of 100 before you adjust for ammunition and recievers. With upgrades and proper perks you will be hiting enemies for 1600 points of damage even without using HE rounds or criticals.

I would like to add the Imi .50 cal dessert eagle mod by NovaFinch, or other dessert eagle mods The only option for a .50 cal pistol is the pipe bolt action pistol so...yeah... It fills a really fun end game slot much like the anti material rifle

I use the Service Rifle Pack, G3 Family, and the PPS43 and an AK74 mod, all my guns are belong to us.

Dak has a wonderful idea here, adding one new gun per catagory to fill the holes, My system is less leveled list focused, and more added content and rationalizing why certain guns would be here and the list below will be a good structure I fill out Secondary bolt action Pistol mods (one for America and one for china and then more for if you think civilians collect and whatnot) Rifle mods (a bolt action, a more antique one for civilian to hunt with) Battle rifles (I use 3 for the Americans and 1 for the communists) Assault rifles (I keep this restricted to one per side) Squad automatic weapons (because of the multiple battle rifles and I decided to prioritize higher caliber for the Americans only the communists get one) MMGs (one for both side, something like an M60 and a PMK or that genre) Also because I’m a pryomaniac I use a new flamethrower mod (the M2 is a favorite of mine) Besides that an audio overhaul to make vanilla guns more impressive) And outside of ballistic weapons I go for Another plasma gun (one for the Chinese and one for the Americans) And another laser gun for the Americans and Chinese. The idea for this design was to ensure that it’s seen that the Chinese are actually here and they do possess agents armed exceptionally for commando ops, it also adds different weapons for the military to use, I typically stick with a G3 style for the Americans but I add in a FAL mod also and am M14 or M1 as an antique firearm

Just a heads up the R91 rifle ads animation while using power armour is broken. while moving it moves closer to your face and while standing still it moves further out. when firing it quickly snaps further out which is distracting and ugly.

I play on XBox like a scrub, but I cant even begin a playthrough without: -SREP for the AR platform -AKM complex for the AK platform, or the Galil if I'm short on space -HK G3A1, or R91 if I want something more lore friendly -FN FAL -AER15 to replace Institute laser weapons. I also like the Photon Cannon and replacer for this if I want a more lore friendly option -Wattz 3000 Laser Rifle platform to replace Laser Muskets -X12 Plasma Rifle to be distributed sparsely in the LL, and the vanilla Plasma Rifle replaced with something else OR the Winchester P94 Plasma Caster if I want something more lore friendly -Steyr AUG or FAMAS -Hunting Shotgun (Remington M870 imitation) -M1897 Shotgun -Caravan Shotgun (Winchester M101 imitation) -Atchisson AA12 or the Riot Shotgun OR the HK CAWS if I want lore friendliness -Mossberg M500 for a more tactical pump-action, but having all of these shotguns is too much space on console -Remington R700 for the hunting rifle platform -Springfield Armory M1 Garand Battle Rifle OR the M1A Battle Rifle, but it's a tough call -FNV4 Anti-Material Rifle (PGM Hécate II imitation). I think the Iver Johnson AMAC-1500 makes more sense in the game, though. Or the CheyTac M-200 Intervention, but it's a way bigger file size. -Skibadaa's WH-Mk22 Heavy Machine Gun pack -US Ordnance/ SACO Defense M60 light/medium machine gun -FN M249 light machine gun -RPG7V2 to replace the missle launcher and/or Fatman, though I hate giving up the Fatman because that leaves an entire category of ammo (mini nukes) that no one uses -Beretta M9-FS -SIG-Sauer P220 -HK USP45 -Browning Hi-Power -Desert Eagle -Real Western Revolver replacer. Makes the Western Revolver look like a Colt Peacemaker instead of a reskin of the .44 -Capitol Wasteland 10mm pistol and replacer -Fallout 3 10mm SMG -Antistar Thompson Submachine Gun replacer -GM/Ithaca M3A1 "Grease Gun" Submachine Gun -HK MP5 complex -MAC-10 submachine gun -FN P90 if I managed to save enough room for it All of that takes up like 1.5 gigs, though, so there's not a lot of space left over to fix the balancing, gunplay, armors and clothing, and graphic/lighting/weather/environment. AND you can only install 150 mods, so when you add in replacers, all those weapons take up most of the space, but I legit cant play with the 90% hella goofy weapons in the vanilla game. All of these are pretty much WW2, Vietnam, Cold War, and Post-Cold War ('90s) era weapons, and they feel at least plausible, if not perfectly congruent within the Fallout lore. ALL of these integrate into the LL list, too, and many have custom integration on start-up.

He has recommended both several times over the years if you look at his older videos but based on his choice for this video his preferred choice these days seems to be the R91/Lore Friendly 5.56 collection. It really depends on what you want. The R91 is more true to the Fallout 3 weapon and to Fallout in general. In terms of style it also fits in well with Dak's mods with similar attachments and sights. G3 Family gives you a G3 with wood furniture, not an R91 and you will have a lot of modern/tacticool G3s spawning in the game unless you use mods that limit the spawns to more more lorefriendly variants. That said G3 Family is very high quality work and the version with wood furniture and rust looks amazing.

I don't. It essentially adds a second ammo counter to every weapon, and always ends up either irrelevant (high Repair and Jury Rigging) or a timesink, depending on how arduous repairs are.

The issue I have with the Defence Gun is that the magazine isn't in line with the breech or barrel. I use Anotherone's Sten for the .38/9mm SMG.

It may be annoying but it was deemed necessary at the time by toastyfresh, there were some worries over legal concerns because he also shared the model with H3VR (Hotdogs, Horseshoes, and Hand Grenades). His concerns have since been quelled, so the AMR will be back on nexus at *some* point, but he’s extremely busy and hasn’t yet.
