Speed, I Always follow the highest winrate heros/meta in order to climb MMR. This time, I spamed Abbadon, like a Billion time, seriously, I probably played like 100 or 150 games as Abbadon, and I started as archon 3 and Now I'm ancient 1. Nobody ban/pick him. And when it gets ban, I just pick Lich/Warlock.

​@@69bangredthey probably meant as support since they said theyll choose lich/warlock if they ban him. Abaddon is such a strong sustain support with his kit, especially with his shield since its a strong dispel and can dispel most disables. Been playing this since before the facet release and I can win everytime with strong cores. But recently, i cant win because of stupid cores making stupid decisions, making me unsure whether to spam him now.

As someone who exclusively plays support role (I don't play any other role), the one hero who trumps over all is Disruptor. If you've got a team with proper carries that know how to play around his long-range abilities maneuvering and repositioning, it's a won game. His shard also grants vision temporarily for uphill sieges which gives your team advantage and can reveal hidden enemies. Let alone it's very hard to escape his glimpse on heroes that can jump in/out, making retreat futile. Plus, his ultimate with ags muting items and silencing makes heroes practically useless in fights.

About warlock, the only reason i can think on why its popular, the golems are actually scaling, which means it's actually harder to high ground. Most of the time when i face with enemy warlock with few items, 80% of it made them made a comeback.

Item and lvl timings are more important the higher the more, so in legend and below black grimoire is not as impactful

Imo, warlock is popular in lower mmr bcs everyone is less coordinated, (less rotation, clumped fights, no respect over his Q and E) and it's just bonkers. It works less in higher mmr bcs people will work around that spell. Kiting his ults, backing away from Q and E, and doing aggressive move when his ult is on CD

On Lich, I take growing cold facet, since your chain frost and frost shield benefits from it, frost shield will be a 60% damage reduction skill (at maxed) that lasts longer than a teamfight plus it damages for 60 and slows for 35%, you can also use it on buildings making it harder for the enemy to push highground. Your chain frost gains 1 bonus jump on a creep kill and 3 bonus jumps from hero kill, with each jump amplifies the dmg, making it as good if not better than the lingering chain frost facet.

Oracle really is overlooked, I got 12 ranked wins in a row using the spell amplification facet as pos 4/5 building locket first, 2 points on purifying flames at lvl 3 then bully their carry or offlaner. You can disarm their carries that heavily relies on right clicks, or you can use it on your allies to protect them from magic dmg nukes and you still have your ult for when they're getting really low. That is 5 seconds (at max) of not worrying that you'll get nuked with mgc damage or 5 seconds of disarm on their carry, plus 10 seconds (from maxed ult) of just dishing out damage as a carry because you can't die and there's always a chance that your carry will live after that 10 seconds just from 20 charges of holy locket and your heals.

The reason for Champion of Gorroth on Warlock has higher winrate is the aghs into refresher build 1. When u get 4 or 5 golem its 90% of your mana and hp regen x 5 (it stacks really well with multiple golems) 2. Also refresher gives alot of hp and mana regen

The quickening on abbadon is insane got like 80% winrate on 40 games playing any pos just going solar+auras

The grimoire is a tempo facet but it has a long initial cooldown so a good minute 0 fight won't lead to a quick lane advantage. Usually you won't play for kills with Warlock before level 6 so you can't count on it to reliably accelerate your ulti timing either. As pubs usually go late anyway the window where the book facet is better than the golem burn one shrinks and if your team cannot capitalize on it reliably I'd recommend picking the golem one.

Warlock, try having two or three hearts and refresher, literally the 4 gokems can clear any towers unless 5 man ganks them Doesn't even matter , the hero will survive most fights with two hearts

Thing with aa is he can't make things happen. I realized for me I need a hero that can contribute alot like abadon everyone wasting their ultimate on me and my team cleans up. Warlock one of the best counter spell caster

I think if you take the exposure facet he's actually insane, significantly better as a core b/c he can just buy any stupid midgame item the team needs. orcid, shivas, radiance, spirit vessel, gleipnir, witch blade, whatever. He just forces the whole team to split with his q, just basically a lich ult with like 4 sec of downtime.

While I really like clockwerk in terms of design, I feel like as a support - he just feeds, sacrifices himself too much to set off an unreliable ability in his W. His passive should give him way more damage, he should be a proper offlane tank with some damage

nah, he is very fun and just a weird hero to pilot, get some games in and you will feel it. Just don`t feed. Try to buy a force staff. Hook in and force out. Never die. Its just a positioning problem imo. Good luck!

clockwerk are meant to be menacing early in the game, but fall off later. At that point, you are doing less tanking and more of sniping important target. Its not uncommon for you to get up to 2 or 3 survival items in top of shard. At late game, you are simply not doing enough trade vs fed core.

for the most annoying supports right now in my rank are abaddon and warlock Abaddon that keeps protecting his cores is just so annoying and his scepter is just so good and warlock is just so good defending high ground and because of him the game is getting dragged to late game and that gives time for cores to build their items

I enjoy naga these days SOOO MUCH. Hope they wont nerf her supp version to the ground. Last nerfs hit hard buy its ok, arcanes are more expensive but I still go solar - greaves - blink and we just win. Good pair with SF on lane and throughout the game too

Gorroth facet is good because in low level pubs warlock always get ridiculous farm and make the game drag on and then just buy tarrasque and people overcommit on him b/c they keep dying to him. I imagine at high levels the facet falls off real hard. Though I really think there is a stupid angle with the new alch shard for an extra like 36 dps per golem. with the full heart sange scepter refresher and holy locket on the alch you get about 1k dps on the burn with the 4 golems. Though tbf only like 250 of that dmg is from the alch but that still feels kinda disgusting.

I tested the warlock facets in demo. Just bought the typical items on 2 warlocks with aghs where one is using champion of gorroth and one isn't. Just throw down a golem and send him to an enemy and ull see the insane difference in burn dps its like triple and thats without fatal bonds. Once u have aghs refresher if u even get a 2 man fatal bonds these 2 men get solo killed instantly by u. The xp facet is cool and all but the other one scales extremely hard its like u cant even win team fights anymore vs this hero

Its like each golem is doing more dps around them than radiance (depending on ur items) and u have 4 of them and u have fatal bonds u can see how this is broken. Only issue is reaching that timing. If u do and position well and be patient with putting down ur insanely long cooldown spells its game over

Quickening Abaddon is stupid nasty. You said Ogre Magi about best shard buyer, and for me Abaddon will be the second. Shard make him a ranged support, kinda mandatory item tbh. a nice pos 4 ranged hero. He is melee, yeah but he is also a range coil spammers with shard. A hero die, and you will cast another Coil. Add Khanda to it, then it become mini version of Axe's Culling. Its funny how much Khanda blast thru their health with sharded Coils. Mana boots/soul ring, and shard and thats it for all game (its the basic omni knight item). Use avernus skill tree and you can go crazy. You will be able to support team clashes early. goes with Phylactery (Khanda if it goes really late). Which is will be quite often since Abaddon is lower ranker pubstomp, which means will goes late often in this bracket. He also a proper scaling hero. Avernus and shield making him a nice pushers should everything goes late. Personally, after Khanda, I goes Manta for his clones Avernus. It really makes them creep wave hit the towers hard. Low rankers dont know how to push and supports need to do this themselves. The assignment is simple. Linger around in back line. Shield teammate that got initiated on. and just spam them coils. Enemy wont goes hunt Abaddon to initiate, simply because no one in the right mind will initiate on him. If you have more than three brain cells, you wont initiate on an Abaddon. His ult is a free Aeon Disk. Just start practice to activate it manually, Axe, PA, SF, and WK love to punch thru the 400 damage threshold. If the game become 60 minute, he become the 3rd or 4th hitters. You already have Khanda, just buy Abyssal, Skadi, and Shiva to counter carry. Abaddon is my secondary pick for supports. Second only Warlock. Simply because DUH!?!?!

@@jarrolightfeather4703 but phoenix is: faster, has double the hp of aa, has an escape, doesnt need manaregen cause egg restores all, will always do damage nomatter how the fight goes, has heal, has high damage, has insane hp regen, can safe allies with aghs, has is own „kit“ with atkspeed reduce and chance to miss (the egg), has big spikes early levels just as later, CAN GO IN! And aa dies in 1sec once he crossed river… The real trick on aa is just to never cross the river, it makes the team somuch weaker if his ult has only 200 radius and gets insta blown up… Yeah you can try to hide… and if the enemy is really bad, they will not kill you first…. But comon phoenix is one of the easiest heros of all.. you click your spells the enemys die, you can combo it with EVERY hero its always strong… Aa just is really strong if he lanes with someone that can lock down on his coldfeet and can tank for him… like a ck sven wk etc
