While I'm growing all of the above species of palms (and like each one of them) in his presentation, none of them are my top five palm species.. But, this is a subjective judgement. My top five palms I'm growing are coconut palm, royal palm, bismarckia palm, foxtail palm, and teddy bear palm.

Yes, his top 5 are more like my least preferred 5, mainly bc I don't want any hazard in my yard. Your 5 are IMO among the most elegant, stylish ones. My top 5 --royal, foxtail, areca (mature), old man, coconut. I personally think bismarckia is a little overrated and simply ends up looking like a very dusty palm from afar
