I've added palm trees slowly to my house over the years. They're a beautiful way to add some color and life back into empty spaces. Plus, the health benefits of having plants indoors is huge. There is nothing wrong with the Areca Palm.... it's excellent inside. It needs some window light. Use humidifier if tips turn brown if the room is dry. Light fertilizer every month. Wipe leafs with damp light soapy water. Wiping will remove meal bugs (white cottony spots). It grows beautiful.
