I always take my visiting guests to Sharjah for a day and they love it. - Inexpensive jet ski (and plenty of space to enjoy it). - Some great restaurants (I highly recommend Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort & Spa). - Rain Room, Sharjah Art Foundation. - Xposure International Photography Festival every year!

Maybe you mixed Sharjah with Qatar. The uae is reallya tourist place. Also religious, but different. Qatar is also very beautiful, luxurious and modern and you don’t need hijab but modest clothes. So men and women there where clothes till the knee’s.
