the one bad thing about iPhone is that a video recorded using it cannot be shared with other devices directly bcoz it has no bluetooth, and you I had to install iTunes on a public computer just to transfer the video from iPhone to another phone making the sharing process really cumbersome

My story of how I ended up with become and Android lover... It all started, about the start of this year (2014). My dad said that there is a carrier that he might use because of it's great plan, which was Virgin Mobile (Not too bad of a carrier, could be better though). I was so excited thinking I would get an iPhone 5C. The phone I wanted, when I was just a foolish iPhone fanboy and sheeple. Later on I told him that's the phone I wanted. He said no. I wondered why so I look at the website and the phone costed $600. Yes, sadly on Virgin, they only have the stock price. So I saw a Galaxy Ring, and decided I wanted it. He told me that he'll find a better one. So we found the Galaxy S3 and got it. I now love Android and will instead of upgrading to an iPhone for Christmas, hopefully the S5. I hope all iPhone fanboy's will have a similar story, and Android will soon be #1 for all.

This is completely true. Google and Samsung have a tendency to release products that aren't quite finished. They may be functional, but they don't quite have all the bugs worked out, or a purpose. Apple waits until they have perfected it. Look at NFC and apple pay. Sure android had NFC longer than IOS, but who really used it? Prior to ApplePay, I didn't know a single person that used Google wallet. Apple took their time with ApplePay, and perfected it. The first few things I did when I got my iPhone 6 were restore from my cloud backup, set up Touch ID, then set up ApplePay. The entire process was easy, and my phone was ready to use, had all my old apps, everything. Maybe it's just that Android has horrible marketing, and no one knew about Google Wallet. Not only that, but if you're a developer, you can unlock the power of your iPhone, write new features, install emulators, write totally stupid widgets, etc. Now that apple has Swift too, writing apps is easy.

My first smartphone I had the choice of a Samsung Galaxy S1 or a Windows phone... I went Android and it's a choice that I don't regret.

The only thing about android phones that I like is the companies that make them. Samsung, LG, etc. The hardware on the phones are great with things such as the camera and display. I don't like the operating system. Android to me is too clunky and slow. Yes I have used one, yes I understand it does more than iOS. With iOS, everything is fast, simple, fluid, and foolproof. Tell me what's wrong about wanting that. The iPhone is meant to be user friendly. I can see why some people don't like that though. They like having their phone customized to them only. Even while typing this comment I can't understand why this is even an argument. Why does anyone care what someone else's phone is? If anything, I wish more different operating systems existed. It would make much more competition which results in consumers getting better products. In conclusion, if there was a phone with the hardware of the Galaxy note 4 and the software of iOS, I would hop all over that shit.

The reason why I'm sticking with Apple is because most phones that runs Android aren't really stable, except for those like the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Nexus (or whatever it's called). They provide updates to many users as possible, which is one of my favorite features about iOS. It's easier to use, but yet not really affordable compared to other phones that runs Android. If you look at the version fragmentation between those two OS, it's not really good for developers (like me) since many people are using different versions of Android, but it really depends on what kind of app you would make in order to make it available for Android. In fact, you can make a better revenue if you develop apps for iOS. I understand there's way more people using Android phones compared to iPhones, but the user's satisfaction blows out everything else, including Windows Phone and Blackberry. Made a quick research of statistics, so here's my final opinion: Android for market share, iPhone for financial/app developing success. I'm pretty sure there's going to have flaming, let it begin.

I can concede that some android features are better. However I put my girls android side by side with my iphone on the coffee table in front of me and recorded myself playing acoustic guitar. iphone recorded/sounded infinitely better. Playback sounds better. As a musician, having a decent pocket recorder on me is more important than anything. My other point would be that I like the way iphone plays with my mac. Seamlessly. And nobody compares Mac to PC. Do they?

The Android Market allows anybody to post an app while iPhone has serious developers only. The latest version of Android, which is Jelly Bean, doesn't have flash. It's not that Android left it, it's just that Adobe didn't want to support mobile operating with Flash and stopped developing it since it really wasn't meant to be on phones, it's geared towards a desktop experience. Although it's still possible to download Flash via 3rd party ways. I have a phone with the latest Jelly Bean version and I have flash too. Now it just depends on which browser I use to view flash content.

The fact of the matter is that Intel has said that Dual and Quad core processors in Android devices run slower than single core processors in other devices. I have talked to several people who have had both an iPhone and an S3 and they hated their S3s days after they got them. Now I know that means nothing, but what is factual is that ALL Android OS powered devices have soft/hardware compatibility issues, whereas the iPhone does not. If you have an Android phone, it will crash and have issues.

I don't understand why you would want to pay more for an iPhone, when high-end Android phones offer so much more, for usually less. Not to mention, a few of your arguments don't work anymore, like the "too poor to afford one." The Galaxy S4 is $250 on a contract. Plus, most new Android phones cost the same as the 16GB iPhone. Not to mention, the "retina display" is shit (not even HD) compareed to a 1080p phone, and all 1080p (and some 720p) phones slaughter the iPhone in benchmark tests.

because when a developer design an app for android , he should take in consideration hundreds of hardware combinations, screen sizes, different cpu's, ram etc, so you will end up with 50% of apps not running on your device correctly, or runs but with horrible stretched graphics due to different screen sizes, meanwhile in ios, there's only two hardware's : iphone, ipad, so every app you install on your iPhone will run exactly as it should, unlike android .

And I have a 2007 phone, in which you open Voice Commands, and you give any order you want. Nexus 6P and the iPhone 6S Plus are neck and neck, both have great built quality, both have elegant and sleek user interfaces, both have one touch ultra fast finger print scanners, both support mobile payments, both have great cameras, both have great battery life, and great displays, both have really fast processors. But what bugs me about iPhone is that it doesn't have file sharing or a file manager everything is proprietary not like Android, you don't have to buy a new printer or tv for your device to be compatible. On the Nexus 6P I hate the fact it doesn't have an SD card or removable battery, but at least the price starts at $549 for 32GB of storage not like the iPhone 6S Plus it starts at I think $749 for 16GB which is insane.

Well, in my opinion, the most reason many choose android is for games and random apps, so below is why to buy each operationg system. IOS: If you a closed platform with constant update and quite easy to use. Android: If you want a huge array of (also scams) apps and game support and if ya dont care about being hacked and also want to root. You will have quite some control over the phone compared to other os. Windows: Quality apps, security, extremely easy to use and good for everything except games. Blackberry: and yes, Blackberry is good. For work mostly.

Besides, Google and Microsoft aren't exactly on friendly terms. Both android and iOS are based on the same linux code and run on the same ARM processors. The only difference is that Android is written by millions, while iOS by hundreds of engineers. Neither Android or iOS are friendly with Microsoft.

Yes, iPhone's are nice and pretty, but style is only what they focus on. The comfortability started going downhill at the iPhone 4. I had a 3gs for 3 years and it was great. I was still an iPhone fanboy at the time. Then, a while ago, my mom and dad got androids and I asked if I could play around with them and was blown away by the big screen and the NFC. When it came to my contract ending, I decided to look at all the android phones at the AT&T store and fell in love with the HTC One(m8) merely based on the premium feel, the boomsound speakers, and its version of Android KitKat. To be honest I hated the Samsung phones. Every iPhone thinks that that's the only android phone out there, and it's complete crap. The notification and tool bar are complete shit, and they just ruined Android KitKat with touchwiz. All iPhone users should at least try out phones like the nexus', lg g phones, or the HTC ones. My friend and I traded phones for a week and tested each others out. Going back to iPhone was complete torture. I felt like I was trapped inside a box and no way out. You have 0 freedom on those piles of shits. As a matter of fact when I got it back my friend wanted to switch right away. Just give them a chance and stop doubting androids. ANDROIDS FOREVER

I hate the fact that Apple forces you to use iTunes if you wanna transfer music, movies and pictures to your iPhone. With the Android devices (and even Windows Phone devices), you can simply drag and drop or copy and paste to your device. Also, Android devices have better game controller support like the MOGA controllers. The game controllers for iPhone look pretty crappy (especially the iControlPad). Also, iOS devices don't have Tegra 3 support. Plus Android phones have 1080p resolution.

Well seeing as the iPhone 4 and 4s are the two most popular cameras on flickr, phone cameras are important. I agree but the s2 has less accessories than the 4s and the s2 is older. The iPhone is pretty much the only phone you can walk in to a shop and get a stereo with a dock on.
