Very good aircraft. I fly it a lot. However, I do wish they move the landing and taxi lights from the left wing and placed them underneath the main cabin like ok the Da62.😊

@@AviationFederation I’ve never flown the Da62, on saw videos and pictures. But, flying the Da40 at night some times makes it difficult seeing the yellow line on the taxi way and runway. This is my experience. Also in the rain taxi around the airport, the wing light are not the good in my opinion

Fairly experienced DA40NG flyer: Good aero design, fly friendly, fuel efficient (A1), amongst the better travelers but somewhat “short legged” , insufficient cabin power outlet (value as zero), notably high failure frequency auto pilot and propeller governor, questionable switch board solutions, floating nose wheel,,, Diamond Aircraft Austria NEEDS to address customer/spare parts services.. You are underperforming !
