Hi, My 120i n43 overheats, but in after a minute, the yellow warning goes away, and the fan works as well. My guess is the trigger temperature is a bit high for the cooling fan. Do u think it's a problem with the thermostat or temperature sensor? TIA

Also if your alternator is working intermittently it will cause the car to overheat because when it isn’t working it runs off the battery and when the battery gets low the ecu automatically shuts off certain electronics to keep the battery from dying completely

Just use motul inugel coolant fluid, will never overheating.

I have n question. I ran my e90 withoit water for about 5 min dueto n burst pipe. The car wont crank now but no repais have been done as yet. How wil i know if the motor is bad

2010 bmw 328i xdrive With the ignition switch on not running doing the flush test the water pump works With the engine runing the water pump and fun is not working Forgot to mention with the engine running and ac on the fun runs good. Any idea what is wrong?

I have 328i 2007 my car also heat and my mechanic said car transmission is not good that's why its heat can u tell me it is true ?

Yep bmws are smart so it shut the car off to keep the transmission from overheating as well
