Lack of sleep is associated with cortisol imbalance and weight gain in places where you don’t want it. I try to use the same small bowl to eat everyday. It looks embarrassing but it has helps tremendously to control how much and what I eat. Cheating days are costly to your health. Unfortunately my eldest daughter loves to cook and to entertain and I have to fight really hard to say no because she really does a good job. She is a very active child and very wise when it comes to food but I’m not that young anymore to handle all the calories🌸 Thank you for another great video🌸

Thanks for sharing! Poor stress management I hear is a big problem with weight loss also. Could you do a video on Adrenal fatigue and weight loss? Thanks!

Thanks so much for the tips. I recently started wanting to get into better shape and 'm guilty of trying to cut calories instead of balancing my meals like you said. It makes more sense and I'm going to try and keep that in mind from now on. This is one of the first fitness videos I've watch from you and these tips are really nice, i'd be happy to watch more like this. It's really cool of you to take your time to make these videos and give us all this free advice. Thank you again!

I am worried. I have had to get treatment for binge eating disorder. I am overweight like 80 pounds. I worked with a dietitian for a year ugh. I am being told to not do intentional weight loss. I actually eye ball perfectly from years of eating disorders.

I would add that paying attention to how your clothes fit can show you if you're turning fat weight into muscle weight. This won't happen purely with dieting and calorie counting, but adding exercise may still be slimming down your body even if the scale isn't showing the numbers you want.

Thanks for the fitness tips! I remember from another video you said you made reading the Bible and working out your "non-negotiable" things you needed to get done. That tip changed me! I started thinking that way too and it has made such a difference in my spiritual and physical life! I think you just convinced me to make healthy eating a non-negotiable and cut out my Saturday cheat day.

I just want to encourage people not to eat too little with my experience so here is what I lived: I went through a breakup and was very sad and in that time I would eat about 500 calories a day for 2 to 3 weeks. I lost almost 20lbs and in just a few weeks I was feeling better (physically) than I’ve ever felt. And everyone was making compliments. It was great. That was a little over a year ago. Over the past year I have gained about 35lbs and have never felt worse. And now all the small this I used to do to maintain my healthy weight are no longer working. I have needed to change my habits completely and I’m assuming that’s because my metabolism is no longer as strong. The point is. Don’t under eat. It’s not worth the quick weight loss. Stay healthy and give yourself time to lose the weight when needed.

Love your fitness tips. I’m a homeschool mom of three and you are very relatable to me. I’ve been working out for 6 months and have only lost 6-8 pounds. It has been very discouraging but I think maybe it’s because of ‘cheat day’. I will modify this and see what happens... thanks and keep up the great videos! ❤️

What’s a good way to find out how much you should eat? I’ve tried My Fitness Pal but when I’m eating Whole Foods I don’t seem to reach the calorie count. I can reach it with junk tho easily. 😛

I have just recently started walking at the walking track where my son goes to school.. I have not been consistent with it every morning but usually three out of five mornings I'm there walking for at least 20 -30 min. I just recently started jogging 1 out of 5 morning for half a mile. I know that this is not much... I see people walking and jogging when I get there and they are still at it whenever I leave. I usually don't have much time bc I need to get back home and start homeschool with the other kids... I'm 31 (32 in Nov) and I am 5ft2 and weigh 123 lbs. I've gained 12 pounds within this past year. I am completely fine with my weight but it is unusual for me. My normal weight is 110 to 112 lbs but even on the days that I fast or didn't have time to eat much, I'm still at 123lbs. Can you recommend how many miles I should jog or walk per wk or per day?
