The HOF 2 Reverb can be set to 100% wet via dip switch (global) or via the TonePrint app . The Kill dry parameter can also be assigned to any of the knobs or MASH switch for dynamic control (TonePrint app)

Currently running in the "reverb" section: Catalinbread Soft Focus, EQD Ghost Echo and TC HOF 2 stereo outs into 2 amps. Also change out the EQD sometimes for a Walrus Audio Slotva. I choose TC over boss BC I need the Swiss Army Knife concept but just preferred more of the TC algorithms plus I can load 3 TC toneprints? Sold. There are some real winners out there in older TC pedals toneprint library I gotta try besides the 3 reverb slots. There's a toneprint for the Transitions/Flashback delay that does a pretty good job emulating the Boss Space Echo. Saving money & a space on the board is worth looking into.

The mooer is such a great pedal. I didn't know about them until watching your reviews. Thanks for that!! I'm ont the search for a reverb and delay pedals and there are SO MANY great options. - The Ekoverb has beautiful effects, hold, tap tempo, is stereo but you can't control with your feet, and it doesn't store presets. My play with it would be make it a pedal for ambience tones only, having a separate reverb to be always on, and a separate delay to work with solos, or rhythmic delay. - - The Atlantic is very controlable, allows the effects being switched on and off separatedly, has tap and hold, and rhythmic figures - but there's no tone control, no presets and the shimmer sounds SO BAD. And you can't do nothing about it because there are no tone control, no low pass filter... - The Indigo Reverb by VTR Effects store presets, allows midi control to select the presets. It allows more tone control and have many interesting effects. But it's mono and doesn't have hold function. And it costs the same as the Atlantic, for only the reverb. They just released the Kailani Reverb, an amazing pedal, stereo, with presets, tone control ability, with sustain. But it's double the price =/ - but check out those... - The Flamma reverb - with some presets, great tone control options, beautiful effects. But no foot control, sadly, and no hold function. - The Mooer R7 is my latest favorite. It is the closer to the ideal (The Kailani would be the best option but it's more than 4 times the price) - Presets, foot controling, tone controls, hold funtion. Great reverb options. I'm just trying to figure out how does it work on changing the presets and the banks. If the foot control is smooth, it would be such an amazing option!!

That's a good comparison Francesco. They all sound great. Even those without full wet. I have a Mr Black Eterna (gold edition) that is a beautiful ambient reverb. It has a shimmer, and with the shimmer off, it sounds like a mix of plate and pad reverb. You have to be careful with the decay time because it can become overwhelming. It is only mono, but has such a deep and beautiful quality to the reverb. I also love the Earthquaker Devices Transmisser. It can get out of control, like the Eterna, but has such a spacy sound and a great filter. I am very happy to recommend both these pedals. ❤🙏

@@PerryFrank The Mr Black Eterna is $179 new. I'm not sure what shipping and tax to Europe would be. I bought mine used in the UK about 5 years ago for £130. Sadly the Transmisser is no longer in production. I bought mine new for £199 in 2017. There are sometimes examples on Ebay and Reverb.

Hi Perry, I use the OBNE Sunlight, OBNE Dark Star, BOSS RV-500 and BOSS RV-6, as far as reverbs go I can get any possible sound I want and then some. I use the Sunlight and Dark Star in the beginning of my chain and the BOSS reverbs as end of chain, this gives me an amazing option in layering sounds.

Hello Perry I love all your informative videos and reverb is my number one sound. Unfortunately we cannot get caline pedals in Canada. As for me the RV6 sounds beautiful and the Mooer A7. Those would be my top 2 choices on the list. As my ultimate favorite reverbs my list number one DBA rooms, Mercury Venus, and 3 Strymon blue sky. I put the blue sky ahead of the big sky due to its simplicity although the night sky is also magnificent for going further One new pedal I want to try is Neubauer Illumine. Keep making this excellent music and doing reviews, much love

I'm sure someone has pointed it out by now but if you plug into input B only on the RV-6 it will not pass on the dry signal. It has no mix control but it does have that as a secret kill-dry.

It's great man, so please imagine if you need a full wet tone and then again a tone with less reverb during a live gig, all you have to do is unplug the cable and plug it from input A to input B. It's cool to hear the cable unpluggin and plugging sound, and yeah it's all reverberated lol 💣

@@PerryFrank I use it exclusively for recording so that's not a problem for me but there are ways to circumvent the cacophony of reverberated buzzing in a live setting. Many of them take little or no additional equipment or expertise. That's the great thing about assembling a signal chain. You have almost complete freedom.

If you play at home using PC with interface ....my Go to is absolutely Free. Valhalla super massive. Also free they have chorus with ambient patches too. Absolutely beautiful completely tunable.

Wonderland has a very original sound but the RV6 is good too, you can combine them, I will make a video about it.

Interesting, my friend. Well actually you can achieve full wet reverbs with the Hall of Fame 2 editing and creating presets via the Tone Print software. ✌️😉

Thanks mate, I know it, but it's a little more complicated than just using a knob to have full wet or not. The best pedal I think it's the Stereo Big Reverb for this reason

@@gaetanofontanazza but you can't go from dry to full wet in a constantly and slowly way. You always have the dry signal and in one toneprint slot you have place for a full wet sound created on your pc. In my way of playing live I often go costantly and slowly from dry to full wet.

I didn’t know the Hall of Fame didn’t have 100% wet capabilities. Good to know! Love my tc electronics Ditto and Flashback 2 though. As for my favorite reverb pedals, I’d have to go with EHX’s Ocean’s 11 as well as the mighty Strymon Big Sky.

There is a dry kill dipswitch inside the Hall of Fame. It's a bit of a pain to set given how small the switches are, but if you don't want to switch to its normal setting, it's pretty easy to do.

I was not impressed by the Shimmer effect from the Caline. I just bought an EHX Canyon and the Shimmer is amazing. It's not a budget pedal though but I splurged. However that Mooer A7 sounded really good and I am going to look into that one.

User manual for the RV-6 says you get wet-only output if use input B instead of A. (static.roland.com/assets/media/pdf/RV-6_eng01_W.pdf) Can't try this because I don't have that pedal, but I own the DD-8 which does a similar thing. And of course this doesn't work if you have stereo input.

I know it, but just like I said about the Hall of Fame 2, during a live performance I need to change between full wet and dry with reverb and I can't open a pedal or in this case unplugging a cable. This is the reason why I prefer the Zcat Big reverb (the last of the list)
