Lalo mirrors Saul in many ways. He deals in trickery and flair, flair that flatters even Don Eladio into giving him a hero's welcome to his home, despite how little he earns for the Cartel. Kim knew how to deal with Lalo because she knows how to deal with Jimmy.

Jimmy ambushing Mesa Verde is one of my favorite scenes of the whole series. The way he just pulled one trick after another was remarkable and hilarious. A room full of high ranking executives and lawyers are no match for him. He is pure Saul Goodman, a relentless force of nature. And there’s such great character development for Kim too. This is the moment Kim realized that Jimmy is fully out of her control, and she sees the full capacity of what Saul Goodman is capable of, and as we see later she fully buys into Saul.

I'm spanish and something that I find funny at 6:26 and always wondered if it was intentional or not from the script is that Jimmy tries to say "abogado! el amigo del cartel" which means "lawyer, the friend of the cartel" but in the way he spells it, instead of "el amigo" it sounds like "elemigo" which is very close in pronunciation to "enemigo". So basically a spanish speaker could understand that he is saying that he is an enemy of the cartel, lol.

There were so many amazing scenes in this season! While I think Kim dying is entirely possible, I think she either goes to jail getting caught in a scheme or disappears using the vacuum store. I think a con goes wrong and jimmy will have to decide between helping her or hanging her out to dry, which he does. Alternatively, if she is going to die I think it's possible she's running a con on jimmy and it will backfire and him being a "friend of the cartel" earns him some protection and she goes down.
