For me number one is ALWAYS Arsenal beating Liverpool in 1989, it was the top two, challenging on the night. Yes there was the emotional weight of Hillsborough hanging over Liverpool (JFT96 always) but Arsenal had a literal mountain to climb that night. Liverpool were unbeaten since a 3-1 defeat an Man U on new years day and were unbeaten in 19 games. and when Michael Thomas slotted the ball past Bruce Grobellaar to make it two-nil nothing can top that. I should know, I was there in the Arsenal end.

This is out of EPL. The Cinderella story of Montreal Impact [MLS] fighting their way to the final for CONCACAF Champions League. Montreal had an away goal against Americans [Liga MX] on a first leg tie (1-1), and looked like the title favored them in the second leg. The second leg was started with a 1-0 Montreal at half. Then Americas swung back with four goals while Montreal only scored once more, giving Americas the CONCACAF Champions League title. (5-3 agg).
