Gymansts press maltese to handstand and very wide on the rings and doing salto to again do maltese. This is top level. I couldnt see any calisthenic athlete like this and what they do is dangerous when they come to 50 years old. It looks they dont perform strecthing and balance ony doing strenght works which harmful. Everything has a low cycle fatigue in the world guyssss. be careful

And scarxlus ? He is the best at zanettis and Van Gelder. Valentin also have 10 maltese presses, and really long combinations. I think they deserve at least hounorables mention. I think Dailong himself would not put himself first ever, Neverland, it is your top.

Here is why they are not in my top 5. Scarxlus form alone is the reason he doesn't make my top 5. Being neutral or almost retracted in the shoulders and depending a lot more on lean for depth than actual width is not beautiful in maltese. It is simply an incorrect maltese form. Valentin i see as a godly plancher and probably the best endurance athlete in planche, but i don't see a lot of maltese from him, and often it's questionable if it's even a maltese because mostly we see just a wide planche. It comes a lot down to what you value more, and to me form and width is the most important factors of what makes a good maltese ahtlete.

@@Francesco_Di_Pereira that wouldnt be a correct definition as That would mean that a dead planche is the exact same thing as a maltese. It’s a position where you are horizontal with the arms to the sides, as if it was a cross. It is called maltese cross in gymnastics as well.

He beats Them at planche, but in maltese Dailong and behzodbek are unmatched compared with Valentin. The width and form of Dailong is in a league for himself, not to talk about the fact he does every variation with very perfect form
