👋🏼 *Clarification! *👋🏼 The PO- 32 is included in the newer and more expensive Pocket Operator models that I mentioned here. It's the PO-12 and PO-24 that are in the cheaper category. All still in the ≈ 100$ Range 👾

@@LiamKillen I haven’t got it talking with the 1 yet, and my C to C cable is in the mail, BUT I love it with Korg Gadget so of course Taipei > oplab/z > op1 will do what I was wondering, at least in the base. I wish Artiphon or some god like dev will open it up a little more for custom sample loading and some key-combo menus to change presets without the app, but from a consumer standpoint it hits. It’s going to be a perfect segway into synths for my friend who is used to mostly FL. If it was open source it could be a nasty little device! ...I’m gonna have to scoop up that weird guitar thing, I guess. 🤣

It’s surprising what you’re able to do with these though. For realz.

Bruh...we literally have the same gear down to the Senheissers lol. I'm know lots of this stuff is or could be mainstream gear but what are the odds. Apart from what I saw here, I also use a Cre8audio modular skiff with an NTFS-1 Korg and a PO33 that no longer works sadly as I left the batteries in a lil too long and it leaked. So i'm actually considering getting another portable synth for my tiny bedroom studio setup. Any recommendations? I'm currently looking at the MicroFreak as well as the Roland JD08 boutique.... Anyway, thought I would drop a line to say how cool it was to come across someone who uses some of the gear I also have and love. Enjoyed immensely! New Subber!

Oh nice! I'll be picking up a Cre8audio modular rick this week! Can't wait.

As fro gear...hmm....it really depends on what you're looking for. Both the Microfreak and JD-08 are great options. I have a MicroFreak and that sequencer is 🔥

Korg Monotron Delay is really fun analog synth/delay for $50 USD. I use it mainly as a delay pedal and it has a MS-20 style filter for tone shaping! Quite noisy, but hey character right? lol
