The IT Crowd is a comedy set in the London offices of the fictional Reynholm Industries, the show revolves around the three staff members of its IT department: a geeky genius named Maurice Moss (Ayoade), the work-shy Roy Trenneman (O'Dowd), and Jen Barber (Parkinson), the department head/relationship manager, who knows nothing about IT. The show also focuses on the bosses of Reynholm Industries: Denholm Reynholm (Chris Morris) and later, his son Douglas (Matt Berry).
The comedy premiered on Channel 4 on 3 February 2006, and ran for four series of six episodes each. Although a fifth series was commissioned, it was never produced. The programme was concluded with a special, one-off episode, aired on 27 September 2013.

I get the feeling the true intelligence of that line goes unappreciated by people, especially if they just watch these videos. I seem to recall that in the scene just before it cuts to Moss, here, the characters are talking about (or maybe playing?) golf, so it's a play on words with "fore" from the end of that scene as well. Very subtle but clever line.

Moss says he always gets golf confused with fire so when a fire starts he says fore, as in golf (not four the number), but it sounds like four the number and five sounds like fire so he goes fore, five, fire. Hope that makes sense, not particularly british just went over a few people's heads :)

Such athleticism!” The guy: “what was Rooney thinking out there?” Roy: “Oh, who knows! That’s Rooney.” Moss: “He is a foolish boy.” The guy: “That ref, I’m sorry, that ref was an idiot.” Moss: “He was certainly the villain of the piece,” and Roy points at Moss and nods firmly and solemnly.
