Thanks fan and yea especially bushings. The amount of force needed to remove and install them are crazy for some of them. A hydraulic press really comes in handy.

Been running 5w 30 engine oil on my g35 04 for awhile I always kept up with the oil but didn't really pay attention to the viscosity level it was way too thin ended up ruining my lifters I recommend a thicker oil if you live in a hot area
@BeDistinct2 жыл бұрын
Damn that sucks considering that’s what Infiniti recommends. I have been running 5w-40 as well. Had to bump up viscosity after getting boosted.

my z has had all of this in the few months i’ve had it. i don’t think he mentioned this but guys gallery gaskets and timing is the bigger issue we all will face. and if you have a g37 apparently your slave cylinder or whatever it’s called for the clutch is stupidly inside the transmission. people relocate the slave outside the transmission when doing their first job on it usually but it would suck to have to pull your trans for that one part when the trans is okay

I mean that’s what the fender liner is for to protect all of that, but I feel you because mine always ripped too so I just leave mine out as well. I only drove my G in dry weather though, if it rains, I don’t take it out.

Every one of these that I’ve seen, nobody has mentioned the radiator/transmission oil cooler. It is one of the biggest problems with g35 and 350z models transmission cooler gets coolant leaking into the transmission and fry’s the transmission. He isn’t wrong on what he has said but that’s the biggest issue

All noises went away I'm going to be replacing the valve covers soon with the addition of gaskets, coil packs, spark plugs as well as Z1 silicone PCV hoses. After all that at some point I have to refresh the rear suspension.
