Loved the reviews but definitely am 180 on Castaway Cay. To me the island is the most well done “attraction” Disney has created in the last 30 years. IMO it’s a perfect balance of untouched nature and not over the top recreation attraction. Kind of what I imagine an remote island is like with enough of the creature comforts of home. Not a fan of the Coco Key water park and commercialization of it. But appreciate your views as well..great content.

Yes! This is how I see Castaway. It's more of a place to relax among natural beauty than a hyper commercialized island.

I prefer Castaway over Coco Cay because it feels more laid back to me. Thankfully there are enough cruise lines to find a private island that you like

I agree, no private Islands beats Coco Cay. It is the best. Have not been on a Disney cruise yet, and its really not on my bucket list.

Hey Guys thinking of getting married on the Dream, please help me understand what the night life ( if ANY) is happening on the ship. The nightclub Evolution seems like a close cut but not sure about the music LOL. The kids thing is a bit much being we dont have children but my husband and I are starwars fans and 80's 90's disney fans lol so thats only going to go but too far. I just love the decor on this ship and i think having a wedding would be fabulous but right now is my only selling point. Thanks for your help

I enjoyed this. I think I like edited videos over lives. Everybody's doing lives now. I get it. But sometimes don't have time to join so I end up scrubbing through the replay. This was straight to the point and fun to watch!

Just got off the Dream, our first DCL cruise & so many expectations .... probably the WORST cruise I've ever been on & to top it off got Covid. Food was "Meh" at best - buffet food was always cold, the selections not great, our diningroom servers were FABULOUS. Definitely took away my Disney magic for sure. I'll be sticking with Celebrity.

early today I watched the cruise y'all were on where you swab lots of places and put them in the (peach-tree ) petri dish and I laughed because I had already watched the Disney Cruise and the little boy coughing on your arm. It's just a reminder that no matter how clean something is - someone can cough germs on you. *And the pool on the Disney Cruise - y'all mentioned it was closed a couple of times ( germs ) *Frantic Disney Parents - Ya mean Karen with her kids lol ?

i haven't been on royal, but if you factored in the extras you pay for through royal, is it that much less expensive than disney? i hear disney being more expensive but then so much is included like fountain drinks, room service etc.

Great summary of the cruise. That's a good way of describing it, "Disney Difference." There's just something about a Disney cruise, especially HOTHS and Very Merrytime Christmas. We also want to do Star Wars at Sea someday. But them prices tho...

You know you actually made me "think" about Disney. Before I say this let me preface we have 6 kids and they are all grown now. We have been over Disney a long time LOLOL If you could take away all those kids and all those disney movie songs I could probably get with this. I just dont want to go on a cruise and feel like Im in Kidsville. Howeverrrrrr......your reasons for loving it make it worth thinking about. Who doesnt love great food and a great stateroom!! I cant wait for Cards Against Humanity!! Love yall!!

First grats on 14k! I think Castaway may have been limited on what they could do because it had protected lands.. like a nature reserve. i really enjoyed a late night BLT and mickey bar from room service. My favorite thing was the banana ice cream on the lito.. but i will have to try a bubble gum drink. Maybe you need to try the Disney Wonder to Alaska. Freezing the night away is different... and they make it snow instead of fireworks :)

Next time, eat at the adults only Serenity Bay BBQ on Castaway Cay and have steak. Yes, Cay is always properly pronounced Kee. Ignore Royal Caribbean's grotesque mispronunciation. Try the beef tartare, it's delicious! That bartender's attitude is worth noting in the comments card. Palo (Pa--lo) rhymes with follow. Pro Tip: use a fizzy drink cup instead of a cone for the soft serve! Thank you for sharing your cruise experience!

Cards Against Humanity is one of our faves!! Appreciate the honest review of this sailing. I could see how the food was exceptional on board. But I agree, the island looked lack luster. However Coco Cay was the first and only island we've been to, so clearly biased opinion at this point. Love the vlog guys as always!!!

Disney cruise line was suppose to be my very first cruise but instead went on an Oasis class because it was leaving from a port nearby. We loved Oasis. I thought the kids including the adults are too old but if you guys had that much fun then we should be good to go. Thanks for the fun video!! Always love your content!

I loved my DCL cruise and I can't wait to do my next one. I think I did my survey in the app, but I dispise that survey. There is so much pressure on the cast especially dining staff to get top marks that the pressure gets passed on to the guests. Even if I didn't have 5/5 service, I would of course still mark that because I wouldn't want to cause their contract to not be renewed. I feel like there would still be high marks without all the pressure. I think Disney takes advantage of staff that may not have a lot of economic oportunity at home and threaten to not renew their contract if they don't get high marks. They do that to inflate their industry ratings and keep stock prices high, that feels icky to me.
