The sleepiness thing at the time Jesse Weber argues is "when jurors are usually glued to the case" is not the juror just "not paying attention". I'll bet this juror has excessive daytime sleepiness from a sleep disorder (which is an irresistible level of sleepiness), especially if the juror was only asleep for seconds. I get that attentiveness is important; however, I wish that it were not discussed as if it were behavioral when it is clearly a medical issue.

Exactly this! I have EDS/hypersomnia. No matter how interesting something is, sunlight and someone droning on equals me uncontrollably nodding off. It's even worse when I'm in a situation where I HAVE to stay awake. However, this is a legitimate medical condition. If this is the case, maybe they just haven't inquired about medical care just yet. Took me decades to figure this out

Judge Hunter just needs to give up that unicorn horn patch of hair. Just shave that off and keep the sides man. I know all too well about losing the hair… you’ve gotta rock what you’ve got. Sometimes less is more though 😂

The judge for the Murdaugh trial was a woman!?

The level of stupidity on display here is insane. It just goes to show that the defence regularly chooses people precisely for their stupidity and ignorance - as opposed to rational, fair thinking - in relation to the trials of the famous.
@michaellauderdale-yr9om8 ай бұрын
Of course blame the defense when state also agrees put people on do not know how jury selection works both sides agree to put jury together but you call other people ignorant when you put the most ignorant statement ever
@RamdomManeGenerator7 ай бұрын
I mean, it is a little concerning that the government expects regular people with no professional training or expertise in law or enforcement to decide the fate of someone else. If you really think about it… that’s kind of crazy. It sounds fair, but sounds crazy at the same time. True, some of these examples are obviously wrong. For example, don’t talk about the case or take photos/videos while you’re on jury duty. But, some of the stuff isn’t as obvious.
