I only got around to watching Breaking Bad at the end of last year. I don't say this lightly when I say that it's probably the best thing I've watched on TV ever, simply because it's a situation that you could definitely see being someone's reality. The way it explores it's themes is masterfully executed.

Very interesting list! I'm definitely more of a TV show guy than a movie guy so I was curious to see what would be on James's list. I agree, Adult Swim was great back in the day and I feel like it always matches my sense of humor. Growing up, I was more of a cartoon guy, but I've been watching more live action TV shows. My favorites right now are Gilmore Girls, Cobra Kai, and What We Do in The Shadows.

I think the scariest thing about The Twilight Zone is that it still manages to resonate today, even if the future they depicted looks nothing like the year it takes place in. It's easy to find nowadays if you have MeTV.

I would say it resonates even more today, especially the episodes concerning freedom and government overreach, like the one with Burgess Meredith where he locks a fascist government worker in with him and there's a bomb. He won't relent until the man criticizes the state, after which the state decides to do away with him.
