Hey Muhammad - my advice: don't use Boosted Proposals. Just write better proposals. Clients don't care who's in spot #1 or spot #10 - they typically go through ALL proposals. Start by writing better proposals - check out this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iaKxqn6rpLWmZ7M

I was getting 6,7 responses out of 10 proposals but now the game has dropped to 1,2 responses out of 10, though I'm using the same strategies of bidding that you told us. Another question Evan, boosted proposals are also applicable to lower spots like 4th, 5th, 6th and so on according to the number of connects that we spend?

6-7 out of 10 is awesome! You might want to try different approaches if you find that one isn't really working that well for some reason. Have you watched through all the rest of the videos on the channel?

Thanks to your advice and strategies I earned $25k+ on Upwork within 2 years. I have been trying different strategies but the proposal response has reduced drastically. I tried sending boosted proposals, updating profiles, and many more things but not getting any real improvement. Your strategies are excellent hopefully I'll see big numbers soon. Do boosted proposals also be implemented on 4th, 5th, and 6th spots?

Good question! It's fine to have a template, but CUSTOMIZE CUSTOMIZE CUSTOMIZE for every single proposal you send! Otherwise your proposals will likely fall flat

From my experience, boosting is not a game-changer. If your profile and application are good, Upwork will suggest you as a relevant applicant anyway. However it doesn't hurt to boost too, in case you want some extra visibility. I personally apply to only very few posts during the week, that's why I don't mind spending some extra connects for boosting.

Hey Evan, I had a quick question. I'm curious to know what your experience has been this year with UW. As you may have noticed there are many who are reporting that invites have dried out considerably since recent changes rolled out. Are you receiving the same number of invites as before?

Good question Bilal, overall it's a mixed bag. Some I know are reporting significantly lower invites, others are getting significantly more. I think it *might* have to do with Upwork updating some of its systems, especially considering antifraud protections which have apparently been a significant issue this year. From our side, invites look fewer but are DEFINITELY higher quality (vs. the spammy terrible ones). We'll see how things develop!

It gives me hope that everything is not going down hill on the platform. Thankfully, I've not had to send out proposals in the past 6 months, as I have a long-term client. But, given my niche and my skillset, I often wonder if I'm being too complacent and have I hit a plateau? Would love to hear your opinions on this topic on one of your videos. How does one determine if they are stuck in a no growth phase, and is that a good thing to be happy where you are with a long-term client, and so forth... Thanks again for all your hard work!

Hi Evan, I started on Upwork since last year and had a pretty decent progress. Considering I do children's book illustrations I was getting great jobs, but starting this year it feels like the jobs have degraded in quality, even after spending time on writing better proposals and on my profile the clients just abandon the job post and there is barely any activity.
