You're absolutely spot on, most if not all fragrances nowadays uses synthetic materials, I went to a Guerlain event recently and leant so much about this. And I'm also with you about fragrantica! Vetiver Sensual is flame! For me another good Vetiver scent is Roja Vetiver Parfum Cologne. Kinda like a more refined TF Grey Vetiver

I have Tom Ford's "Grey Vetiver" I find it really disappointnig. I also have Macera's "Vetiver Sensuel" and I consider it a bit too floral. I bought "Vetiver Fatal", but I still haven't gotten it on the mail. Jovoy's "Incident Diplomatique" is an expensive fragrance, but I like it a lot, for formal suits specially. Thanks for the video, and thank you for describing what you get from each fragrance, and not focusing on the declared notes. Like you said, sometimes they disorient me.

Fire Lineup! I love vetiver geranium although rose is the standout note in my opinion. That along with vetiver sensuel and vetiver citron (art of shaving) the only vetiver scents that I have experience with. Thanks for the intro to more vetiver options.

If you ever find Terrarossa from Profumo di Firenze, it's like the easiest and most natural spring vetiver smoothed out with ylang. Pretty much my go-to along with Guerlain's Vetiver edt and Bel Ami Vetiver with that rough leather. And of course, I can't say no to TdH Eau tres fraiche. Probably the best beginner vetiver out there.
