In my opinion, the worst thing in Undertale was Alphys calling you all the freakin' time. Seriously, in Hotland, you can't walk three fucking meters without having to interrupt your walking, and have to smash z and x to continue, it quickly gets very annoying and frustrating.

Also, in Undertale there are some wayyy to long corridors : the first one with Toriel watching you behind the pillar is ridiculously stupidly long, and becomes REALLY annoying when you play the game again a few times, or when you backtrack. And the final corridors (before asgore/sans) should be shortened once you've heard the monster's story during your first run, as they are stupidly long, and it's pretty boring to walk through them.

Another thing that disapointed me was the difficulty level of the puzzles (except Mettaton tile game) : they were all much to simple. If the game was a very easy game, it could be normal to have such easy puzzles, but the fact is that it's not (Undying/Sans fights). And you might tell me that the Snowdin ones were there to expose Papyrus' personnality and make great jokes, but then why the Hotland ones were also very easy ? I would have really liked solving some hard and satisfying to solve puzzles in Undertale. Also I agree with you, Alphys' in-game sprite looks like shit

+Hyurno Toby did that on purpose to turn you off from continuing. When Sans said "you're gonna have a bad time", he didn't just mean those two difficult boss fights. He meant the fact that the rest of the game is just a slog, grinding against enemies as the encounter rate decreases with every death. And the fact that there's little to no reward to it rubs salt in the wound. The "bad time" he spoke of isn't bad _per se_, but it's just... boring.

Personally I REALLY hate how slow you move in the game. It makes it so much more tedious to explore and occasionally back track. Even the river person, THE GAME'S FAST TRAVEL SYSTEM, is made very slow paced. The only way to really move any faster is by glitching the game, and that's barely anything either.

Honestly, It makes me really happy that the worst one is that you can't save Asriel. But I have to say, I think the fact that even in True Pacifist, you can't save everyone. It adds a heavier point to the game and makes you think of the, I hate to use the word, sacrifice that had to be made to get you to the surface. And it was the only part of the whole entire game, even the genocide route, that made me cry. (It's not because i'm heartless, It's because Genocide made me feel like I had no emotions.)

+Layla dog ooohh boy ooh boy do I have some things to say Okay let's just start with the basics about Chara's character and some things they did: *Chara climbed the mountain for an "unhappy" reason *Chara hated humanity *People are not just born with hatred towards everyone, something has to happen to them or a loved one that makes them feel the way they do. This can be interpreted as Chara climbing MT. Ebott to commit suicide or perhaps just run away from home. *Were adopted by the Dreemurr family *Asriel described them as "not really the nicest person" *Just laughed it off when accidentally putting buttercups in a pie and giving it to their father, making him very ill. *Chara chose to eat buttercups so that they could die and Asriel could use their soul to cross the barrier and kill 6 more humans to free everyone. *Eating buttercups is extremely painful and unpleasant (symptoms include bloody diarrhea, excessive salivation, colic, and severe blistering of the mouth, mucous membranes and gastrointestinal tract.) *They killed themselves to _free everyone_ from the Underground. They wanted to help them all out and bring them back to the surface. They may have actually wanted to kill more humans (since they hated humanity), though they still care enough about monsters to end their own life, even if they had a loving family. *Chara represents the player (or whatever the Fallen child is named at the start). If you're good, Chara is good. If you're evil, Chara is evil. This is seen at the end of the Genocide route. There is this theory that Chara is also the narrator of the game If this is true, this add a lot to Chara's character. This can lead you to interpreter that _"But nobody came"_ has something to do with Chara and their past. During fights with Mettaton through out Hotland you are given the options [SCREAM] [CRY] in various battles. Along with this, a battle with an Amalgamate has the option [CALL]. * You called for help. _But nobody came._ [CALL] * You screamed out. _But nobody came._ [SCREAM] * You cried as loud as you could. _But nobody came._ [CRY] This could mean that Chara was either abused, bullied, something along the lines of that. Giving a lot more to their character than "just evil". Along with that, LOVE stands for Level of Violence which could have another connection with Chara suffering some form of abuse. Though if the narrator Chara theory is true, this also means that Chara is a huge dork based on the text in various parts throughout the game. The "date" with Alphys, playing with the dogs in Snowdin Forest, and so on, could all be used as proof that Chara's just like a kid. On a side note, there's a chance that Chara is actually the one you Save at the end. After saving all the previous lost souls, you have to save _"someone else"_. The first thought that goes in your head while playing is that Asriel is "someone else", but when selecting that option the game says; "You reach out and call their name". Notice it doesn't say _"his"_, but _their_ And what is Chara, exactly? *The demon that comes when people call it's name.* Their name is called so that they can be saved This is what triggers Chara's memories The memories where they call for help and someone finally comes. This is what makes it possible to save Asriel But what does saving Chara mean? What happens to them after saving them? When saving other lost souls, they seem to return to their normal state and thus bodies. So what does this mean for Chara? This could mean that they are the reason you are able to survive that last attack, by helping you out. What if when they were saved, they have a change of heart and will help the player out, despite hating humanity, to SAVE their best friend? Though, this is all just speculation. But hopefully this made you think twice about Chara's character. It just really gets on my nerves when someone calls Chara "just evil", because there is so much more to their character than that. Most of it is left to speculation and headcanons, but it is something to think about. (After all, Chara is supposed to be the player. Which is why almost their whole character is left unknown.) Chara is probably a very negative character, but evil? There's so much more to their character than _that_. They're only evil in the Genocide route, the route where the *player* chooses to kill all those monsters. It's not Chara's fault, but the players. Chara is not evil, but the player is.

To dodge the Greater Dog's sleeping dog attack, don't move. To dodge the dog couple's axes, go under one from center to edge, then under again, from edge to center. Simple as that.

I wouldn't really say the Undyne fight is all that cryptic. I figured out what to do on my own without a guide. After a few tries of just toughing out the attacks and sparing over and over like with Toriel, I obviously began looking at my other options. I tried challenging her and increasing the speed of her attacks and pleading to decrease the speed. After realizing that those aren't really doing much either, I looked for something I'm missing and then I realized that you could flee from the battle, which you couldn't do with other boss fights.

+Aura Fox Untrue. I'm not sure about anyone else, but I know that you can flee from Toriel. I'm not sure about anyone else though. I figured that out when trying to figure out how to spare her, and it just reset the battle, so I figured it'd do the same thing again and never bothered.

Huh, I wonder what happens if you do that... but I'm pretty sure most boss fights don't let you flee if they're forced encounters, though I may simply be remembering wrong. I just remember it seeming odd that I would be able to flee the battle. I also feel like it's okay that it's not readily apparent from the beginning since the entire pacifist run treats boss fights more like puzzles.

I think the reason for not being able to save goat-bro is because of one thing: resets. Even if you saved Asriel, you’d probably just reset later and all of that would be erased. Saving Asriel would provide the perfect ending, and the player would be completely satisfied. By by ending the story pretty much the moment you leave the Underground, and not being able to save Asriel, as well as other mysteries, such as Sans, it leaves the player with wonder. What would happen, what would I learn, if I did it differently? It fuels your curiosity. And soon. You’ll be doing Genocide. 8)

I agree with you on Flowey's overworld sprite, as well as Papyrus'; Flowey's a very emotive of character, but his overworld sprite conveys very little emotion, and as for Papyrus, I think you already said it well enough. I agree on the random encounters as well; I never quite understood why I'd have to fight the same monster several times. You can justify it with ones such as Froggit, but certain others don't make sense. Also, I appreciate that unlike many other KZbinrs I've seen, you don't sound like your completely bashing the game. You say what you think is one of the worst things in the game and give a good reason why, without sounding hateful. I like the way you speak. :)

For the "lack of gravital detail", Toby did that ON PURPOSE. He states that in the concept book, where there was going to be this sprite for Papyrus, he stated it look TOO good, which was why it never made it in the game. He made the sprites imperfect, because to show that not everything about the game has to be perfect, like in real life and with actual people, no ones perfect in the world, why was why it seems that way. And for NO.1 yes, we all want to save Asriel, but sometimes, in real life, we can't get what we want in life and sometimes, there's nothing we can really do. And I'm surprised you haven't't added "Too much things unexplained in the game" even though, it does have it's own counter argument. (Sometimes, somethings can't be explained) But it's still a nice video.
