@@drigonfirefox not really. I was using real world stuff as an example, I based it on deductive reasoning. They established that the effect happens because of proximity and yet say that the bunker isolates those within from the anything happening outside. So logically that would mean it isolates the people outside from anything inside as well. They never state that it is outside of the laws of physics paranormal or otherwise which would also leave the interaction as a: how the hell? Now if this was achieved via some sort of supernatural signal or whatever which the walls contain it would also make sense for it to not occur inside the bunker even when both copies of an individual are inside. Meaning it isn't the room itself but something inside of it which is blocking certain phenomena from occurring. Still doesn't explain why he would be affected by an interaction with a copy inside the room while outside... It's probably just not well thought out writing to give people a clue that they were about to meet a time clone.

House of The Rising Sun plays twice in episode 4, and I thought it was pretty cool that they made the connection between the almost timeless existence of both the Rising Sun and the Hotel Oblivion. Whereas the Rising Sun can be a metaphor for the place you go to (or rather that shows up) once you give into the darkness within you or are at least tempted to, Hotel Oblivion similarly is a place where one isn't discriminated against no matter what their story is. They are both gateways to other worlds, both being this sort of liminal space where you either face your demons or you embrace them. Both times the song plays it's concerning Harlan's own struggles and the chain of events that caused the Kugelblitz, but we can see it parallels almost every other character's arc this season. It's like the physical and allegorical dimensions of these places are one and the same. We know the song choices are on purpose, too, so I think in a way this is an "aha" moment from the writers to see if we'd catch up to them being smartasses. I did! Also, Klaus could easily travel between the pocket dimension inside Hotel Oblivion and this show's version of the afterlife. Both he and Luther were able to exist in the afterlife even though they never even existed in the Kugelblitz timeline. Plus, Klaus could see an entire life that never even happened. This implies that both the afterlife and the Hotel Oblivion exist outside of space and time and the laws of (meta? quantum?) physics and therefore time itself don't apply to those places.

I assume they went to a universe where they don’t have powers because Reginald never needed to have powerful children because he got his wife back and they can all live normal lives except it’s the original timeline without the sparrows except Ben is there bc he was originally part of the umbrellas. Or maybe the Ben on the bus is the original since if they theoretically never had powers in this universe then Ben should’ve never died and Sloane is only gone because of the squares like you said. So maybe the Jennifer incident was Ben falling in love with a villain and her turning her back on him and killing him while sparrow Ben fell in love but realized she was a villain and a traitor from the start and killed her despite falling in love. Then maybe that’s why he has the scar because they fought each other.

I really love this show, it is so good. I hated Allison this last season though😭 but I understand she is portraying her grief / anger through her actions. She has gotten too attached in each timeline.. I don’t think they will ever fix or get back to their original timeline. I would assume at this point is damn near impossible because each time they try they change something. I do think we will finally get clarity on how number 7 begins the commission. It’s so hard to predict what’s going to happen because they can go in so many different routes!! I’m so excited guys!

Totally unrelated to the show but your comment reminded me of when my grandpa told me he had a dream where a clockmaker told my grandpa that his watch would stop working a specific amount of time (I was 7 at the time so I don’t really remember the exact days/weeks, it was oddly specific). It sounded ominous and I didn’t think much of it then. He ended up dying more or less exactly after that time. I’m not religious or spiritual (well, agnostic so I can’t deny what I don’t know) but to this day I still often wonder if our bodies are able to tell ahead of time or if there could perhaps be a sth else out there. Theory For Sloane: I think the televator thing you're mentioning gets invented by Five next season and Luther uses it alone to go back at Oblivion ( He uses it alone to avoid paradox psychosis cuz he was dead at the time Reg was sucking other souls for resetting the universe therefore no one other than him can be present in both timelines) and brings back Sloane to the timeline where the universe was reset. That's why when they all arrived on an elevator, Sloane wasn't with them cuz she and Luther were already at the place where the televator was. As of Doppelgangers, I think that's what is supposed to happen next season.

One thing missed was how often the final "rune" placement was throughout the season (the "stars" they had to stand on/the map tattoo on 5). A lot of the background designs had the same placement pattern, easily seen on the passage door in the Buffalo room. But it was everywhere! Another thing of note that fully supports the Televator (which I did not know of- I know nothing of the comics), is that at the end Hargreeves acknowledges WHY he put Luther on the moon in the original timeline. It was easy to kinda miss (as in, how did he know?), due to opening scene of the episode and the stress of the situation. But no one knew why Luther was up there (iirc), and led me to believe he was a trans-dimensional being. The Televator is the piece I was missing! Amazing job breaking down the Easter Eggs! I learned a lot!

Unless something like the Televator exists off-camera (to be mentioned in the next season). How he knew about the other timeline's secret moon mission really stuck out to me lol

There’s a scene in the hotel that shows a newspaper article framed about the Grand Opening of the Hotel with Reginald Hargreeves front and center in the photo. Definitely reminded me of The Shining. I have a theory on why sloane was missing. Remember the machine of the universe? Notice the squares representing the sigils, AKA the seven of them? One of them isn't glowing like the others. So that only makes 6 glowing squares meaning maybe only 6 will be able to make it through once the dimension is reseted. Maybe Sloane was left out because her sigil wasn't lighting up.

If Harlan never made a connection with Ben in Season 2 (since he was dead), he wouldn't have killed his mother when he accidentally killed the living siblings mothers. That makes it possible that Ben WAS born and is now alive as a double (seen in the after-credits scene). Sparrow Academy's "Ben" appears to be obsessed with "Jennifer" (shadows of traumatic memories from his life and death in a different timeline?) and I'm thinking she could pop up in Season 4 in Ben's storyline if he's actually alive.. again. 🤔

The reason for this is because they didn't end up liking the hairpiece for the actor's bangs, it was a pain in the butt I guess so they decided despite the continuity error they wanted to change his hairstyle so it would be easier to deal with when filming. I forget exactly where I saw this but it was in an interview when I googled about it because I noticed that too lol

Well, whomever Jennifer is, she simply exists in both timelines just like a lot of other ppl do. I think "Subway" Ben is possibly Ben 1 and Ben 2 after they "rejoined" to become one. And that he has memories/knowledge of both timelines which includes things Ben 1 would have learned in Heaven so he possibly has a plan and a mission.
