When I was in Highschool, millions of years ago ( 1990 to 1994). My art teacher actually taught us about perspective drawing. He explained that this is very fundamental for any good artist to know how to do. To be aware of depth, and how shading can aid in making a 2D drawing, look 3D. We did a lot of perspective drawing, and a lot of still life work....

This is such a great video. It’s been too many years since I went to school for interior design, and needed to do a sketch. We just bought a school bus 🚌 to convert into a tiny home on wheels! Architecture is a language: and sketching is a way to translate that language into something we can use to understand and manipulate what exists, and what we want to create.
