But a few months ago they made a cringey video, essentially patting themselves on the back, being emotionally manipulative and flat out lying, putting down YT and KZbinrs and inflating the quality of their own content...for it to turn out they were leaving YT, pull all of their previous videos and (despite not putting out a lot of content) start a streaming service themselves...it got covered pretty excessively, so if you want more details just check YT Since then people have spoken up how badly mismanaged their patreon had been even before this, that there had been a steady decline in quality and more importantly visible disinterest from the boys, how badly mismanaged their company is (financially and marketing-wise), it was revealed that all of their wives are on the payroll (as are friends and family), (Shane's wife in particular came out to rant at the ungrateful people who didn't want to give them money), the guys also had previous videos/statements questioned; like Steven (the Worth It guy that owns the channel with them) owning homophobic literature, Shane (and wife) being complete hypocrites and Ryan in particular looking down on KZbin(ers). They have since backpedaled regarding taking their videos of YT (and leaving YT) -> by claiming it had not been the plan despite proof, but not addressed anything else, have mainly posted "TV-caliber quality and utterly original" Let's Plays and ads.... There's probably a bunch of other small stuff that I'm forgetting, but that's roughly "what happened"

Dudes. All the axe murders on your show were done by a German immigrant logger. These researchers pretty much proved it. It’s amazing on much documentation they uncovered. Watch The Man From the Train by Bedtime Stories. I wish I could remember the video with the two researchers who tracked this guy. Used the family’s axe, ate food and took food with him, and train tracks a mile or two from the houses. They can put the guy in Germany during the hinterkafiek farm. Please look into it, it’s fascinating!

I think when you asked during the EVP what year it was when they said 18. I believe they meant 1918 as back then they would call the years 16/17 /18.
