Found this on game pass tonight. It's been pretty fun and addictive. You were spot on when you said, you want to get better. It's been cool using different clans and trying combinations.

I just downloaded mine a few days ago, been addicted to Slay The Spire as my relax and unwind game, and I'm picking up a lot of similar vibes/gameplay mechanics from this game. excited to try it

8:33 I think endless is stronger with specific units like the +4🔥 imp, but in generall its better on spells

About the trials , on high covenant rank (specially the one with higher hp for minor bosses and 40 pyre hp) and some class combinations like awaken + molten remnant (because it sometimes lack targeting damage ) , taking first trial can end a run XD .

Oh for sure! This was targeted at people new to the game who aren't doing covenant runs. I have ended a covenant run with an I'll advised early trial! Like I say, I'm greedy

1:45 while it’s true that having a plan is important I feel it’s actively bad advice to not mention that it’s often actively beneficial to use fewer units. Notably if you only have a single unit barring your champ you will always draw that unit and the consistency that provides more then makes up for the loss in potential power. Plus focusing buffs on a single floor ( especially when enchant is involved or you are buffing a primordium) will result in greater power anyway when you don’t have to split up merchant of steel upgrades. Having 2 attacking floors means you’d have 1 multi strike on 2 units but the buffs scale far better if you keep buffing a unit with multi strike 2 for example. The only real time having more units is better is the early game before you are fully setup but honestly I’d rather just plop some temp upgrades on a a train steward for early game help. This is triply true if using primordium with super food because let’s be honest you probably are going to end up with like 40 ember drain from all those furnace taps void bindings immortal trades ect you play on it to scale your offensive unit. You ain’t playing more then the first unit without forever flame or without having energy cards in the right turns. But you don’t need energy for primordium so just plan around not having any.

the bird with revenge = +1 damage is 90% of the time a run ender for me , because I usually focus my build around multistrike and... well... the +1s add up quickly when you have a 30x4 multistrike monster.

Lol. I’ve never been good at these games. But really love playing them. Guess its the challenge. Came here for the tips and it made me feel bad. Lmao. I was doing all these things and still only have 2 wins. But at the end you talked about being greedy with the trials. That one. That’s prob my downfall. Especially when the reward is an artifact.

idk if it's due to later rebalancing, but compared to STS, this game is hella easy. out of 6 first runs, ive won 3. but then again i guess thats the point.

6:40 the ability to not get attacked by enemies in generall can be harmfull. In one scenario, I got the -1 damage artefact and dante with spikes. The enemies also got spikes. I equipped dante with quick and so he would have killed himself with his 7 attacks. Since I Created My deck around buffing Dante, I would Have lost him and the run. Also the random cost artefact is a good example for this too

So I had 3 cultivate on The Sentient (Awoken Champion), I had Animus of Will (attacks three times), I got Onehorn's Tome (Hellhorned Book) from Historian's Records (Concealed Caverns event), I put hold-over on it and removed it's consume, then kept putting it on the Animus. It had 5-8 sap every round and was still doing 24x10 damage at least, I got scared though because every sap was taking away 20 damage.

1:24 when i see 37 cards in deck i almost wanna skip the video - i'll give it a go and edit later 1:40 this sentence could make ppl think they need minions on each lane which already cought teach them a wrong concept of the game - dont feel forced to put minions in every lane - it's an option (and not the best one for numerous reasons) not a must have 2:17 keep your deck lean is a great tip - this might vary for other ppl and decks but i never go above 22 cards (and this is the utmost maximum) - everything above doesnt suit my favourite playstyle of cycling good and needed cards quickly 3:23 this is a great tip and should allways be remembered ( 3:42 on a side note seraph the chaste is a bitch - as an awoken lover i can tell you it is gonna work but it's a bitch...) 5:12 great tip again should allways be followed unless you're following a very specific plan 6:50 5th tip ... yeah greed kills - everyone gets remembered by that every now and then 8:53 spikes op - cant lose runs trust me - not possible Edit: good tips video glad i watched it - cheers mate o 7

@@SkipMcLazy hey man thx for the reply o7 and yeah it sounded sarcastic but i played so many spike runs even just for fun and i really do think spikes is insanely strong - you get a free tank and with awoken you got numerous insane dmg dealers to back it up. for new players that dont play covenant spikes is a save pick while I as a new player had some troubles with the hellhorned. even if you play against the chaste the spikes are still easily enough even tho he removes a good chunk of them
@SkipMcLazy
@SkipMcLazy 4 жыл бұрын
100% with you. My first victory was awokened with spikes. I only recently figured out some great strats with Hellhorned and got some stupidly insane damage dealt. But it's harder to setup than a spike build!

New player here, just got my first win last night with a spikes build so I agree :). Awoken in general was much easier for me to get going with then Hellhorned. I have yet to try Stygian out or unlock the others.

@@spoonermcgee Stygian has a low HP champ like Hellhorned ... but frost. Delicious frost. So OP. You'll like it once you try it!
