I’ve definitely shared or lent art supplies to friends and they’ve lent me art supplies. It’s a way to have access to colors you may not have, but the other person does. Or I find a unique watercolor paper and you cut it into smaller sheets and share some of the smaller sheets with others. And they do the same with me. We also share durable art supplies, like heat guns or expensive compass sets, just so the other person doesn’t have to buy that thing. It really creates an art community doing so. I recommend it! I’ve found so many supplies and colors I possibly wouldn’t have tried if I had to buy it outright. But because I was able to test them out beforehand, I learned what was useful and what ended up being not worth spending money on,

I LOVE Pan Pastels. They're chalk pastels but in like a powder form for brushing on stuff. I only use pastels for doing doll faceups and blushing (and once in a blue moon, resin pigmenting), so having it already powdered is super convenient for me.
