helpful vid. Along with watching a lot of other reviews I landed on the Earfun Wave Pro as I wanted cheap backup pair of headphones. I currently own the Bose QC Ultra as my main, Soundcore Q45 as my former backup, and now the Earfun. I did try the 1more years ago but connectivity issues was the main problem for me especially multipoint. So far the Earfuns have been great and the EQ is what is working for me. Still an Anker and Soundcore fan so will also use my Q45 but hope they slim down the earcup bulkiness.

What an excellent, thorough video! I am between Soundpeats Space and Soundcore (50% here + but in 6 installments) but I think now I should go for the Soundcore. I actually have Soundpeats Air 3 now for the commute and I love them but I wanted an over ear pair for home. I am a bit hesitant about the less volume (thanks for that spec!) in the Soundcore. Also I like bassy as in my Air 3, but it seems Soundcore does well too. But LDAC might be a game changer I think. Don't care much for ANC now but still nice to have and it seems features/apps are great (the better AUX quality is an unexpected discovery! I have quite a few analog equipment to try them on)

@melvinrimorin78406 ай бұрын
What the Sonoflow lacks in features makes up for it in SOUND. Man, with the correct EQ settings, they SOUND EXPENSIVE. In terms of sound, they can go toe-to-toe with Edifier and Sony’s flagships. Yes, I said it. And I tested a lot of headphones when I was active in the audiophile hobby (not so much now). Pull down the bass, keep most of the mids as is, and you can be aggressive with the treble (they’re pretty recessed) and have hi-res Bluetooth headphones that punch above their price point. I totally agree with you. The reason why I picked them. Also, it has a really nice carrying case and gunmetal finish. Absolute bang for your back. By the way, did I forget to mention that this comparison is fantastic? Good stuff, man! Cheers!

Hello. Could you please help me with the custom eq setting that sounds best?
@melvinrimorin78408 күн бұрын
@Claire3po Frequencies 100-3107, keep them as is or adjust 100 depending on how much bass you want. 4641 raise to +2 db, 6749 to +2.5 db, 9550-14500 max to +3 db. That will open up the highs. Let me know how you like it.

What would you say is better? Soundcore Space One or JLab Jbuds Lux anc? Also im wondering why those were not in the video since they only cost 80 dollars.
@PerfectExsneeder7 ай бұрын
I have one question and four suggestions. Question : You say 1More Sonoflow can do max 95.8db yet Amir from audiosciencereview measured one with bluetooth connection up to 113 db, this is massive 17db difference! You said in previous video that you just put SPL meter in the earcup. You measure max volume without creating seal with flat plate coupler or head simulator like DSP Ears or G.R.A.S Kemar? Suggestion 1: One big thing I care about that you dont do is distortion measurements. I would like if you made distortion vs frequency graph or even better, multiple graphs at different volume levels like 85, 95, 105db for example. To make it even better you could show the level of individual harmonics ie second order, third order etc. Suggestion 2: Give us waterfall plots, ringing caused by resonances can seriously decrease sound quality and while frequency response and phase response are interlinked, its much better visible in waterfall plots than in frequency response plots, especially after smoothing is applied. Suggestion 3: Buy in ear, inside pinna measurements microphones like MS-TFB-2-MKII from Sound Professionals for example. They cost like 250$ and give the most accurate measurements. Even 25k$ G.R.A.S Kemar head simulator cannot defeat real human head! Suggestion 4: Always mention and show if and how much angled are the drivers. I much prefer sound of headphones with angled drivers.
@pickyaudio7 ай бұрын
Yea that's right it's not an accurate measurement of true dB but is even across all pairs. I'm still pretty new to reviewing headphones so I appreciate the suggestions

I'm surprised that the Soundcore Space One got an 8 for Sound Quality. I found that they have an extremely weird tuning where the included EQ couldn't save them and the sound is always unnatural and cold. That's a great shame because their Liberty 4 NC earbuds punch well above their price with their sound and the rest of the Space One package is outstanding.

And sounded not much better than other headphones I had in the same price range. Their sound quality i ididnt mind for the price, but their durability is ridiculously bad. The first ones I had shattered from a single drop onto a wooden floor. And the second ones had the plastic cracking from just leaning my head against stuff, less than a month after I bought then the cracking got so bad they fell apart in my hands. Their build quality is terrible.
