Rule should be: If the car is meant to be as quiet and smooth as possible, it was literally born to be electrified. Rolls Royces, S Class Mercs, the Jag XJ (which is begging for a comeback) all fall into that category. Anything that was built for a torquey V12 would be perfect for an EV model. Anything that's centred around its engine for its evocative experience, such as the LFA, the big V12 Ferraris and what not, should be remembered for what they were. Trying to bring the brand back without the sound will never work. It'll always be sad.

1:50 The closest thing we are getting to an EV Eldorado is the Celestiq and Lyriq SUV. 3:23 I too would enjoy it, but it seems Buick is only about SUV's everywhere else outside China. 4:50 no need, we are already getting the new Alpha 5. 6:10 I'd be down for that. 7:33 we almost got an EV successor to the XJ220 in the C-X75, but they cancelled the project when now would've been the perfect time. 9:01 we're already getting a RAM EV. 10:24 we've been hearing a lot of rumors regarding the R36 GTR's electrification.

I personally would prefer the new GTR having a hybrid engine, be a brand new, or the old one as well because it makes the right noises. But as long as it looks like the VGT 2020 concept from Gran Turismo, i wouldn't care if it was an electric either.

The DMC is perfect for conversion to electric. 1. the original drive train is terrible so no loss there. 2. you don't want to drive one very far because the ergonomics aren't very good. So range isn't a big concern.

The next generation GTR should absolutely be a hybrid. Just like the last one, it should be considerably cheaper than the competition but utilize everything it can to trump the competition. If the GTR were a hybrid, it could compete with the newest crop of hybrid supercars such as the Lamborghini Sian and Ferrari SF90, and hopefully be better than them as well. Having the screaming turbo V6 soundtrack along with electric propulsion is the way to go in my opinion since it is my belief that supercars should not be fully electric. Straight-line speed does not make a supercar since even basic EVs are capable of sub 4 second 0-60 times. Listening to the glorious soundtrack of a gasoline engine as you tear across a drag strip and rip through corners is the defining experience. A hybrid GTR would be 100% on the mark.

I 100% agree with all these choices. Think about it. - Cadillac is all over the place. - The GNX has always been a stand out and therefore one of my favourites. - DeLorean… NO QUESTIONS ASKED. - The Z8 was shit on due to it being a BMW Z-car with soft suspension. - XJ220 would have a second chance to live up the Hype the original had before the stock market crash of the early 90s. - Dodge Ram EV. I’m an Australian but even I know pick-ups are built to be TOUGH. Leave the luxury market to Cadillac and Rolls-Royce. - Nissan GTR R35 is 13+ years old now. High time for new GODZILLA.

One car that I think should come back as an electric car is the Chevrolet corvair. Instead of a corvette electric sedan just call it the corvair. It’ll be the perfect competitor to the taycon and the model s. Just give it 500-1000hp power train options, price it from 50k for the base to a little over 100k for the top dog model and we’ve got GM’s answer to the Model S.

My honest opinion was that they shouldn’t have brought back the hummer as EV… If GM brought the truck back with that 6.2L v8 that they currently use in some of their trucks already, it would’ve gathered much more attention. The electric will die in a matter of years due to battery depletion And the Z8 definitely does not deserve the electric treatment. It was originally a v8 tourer, the point was the hear the V8 while cruising. I guarantee it would flop massively without that sound backing up the design

I fully support thr Delorean Going electric, and maybe just a fantasy but Delorean could team up with VW and Lamborghini and use SUPERCAPACITOR tech ALONG with conventional EV tech, that would be so awesome, supercapacitor takes the brunt for high performance acceleration, while the battery pack can fully focus on tame driving and range with less strain.

Stype, if I must be honest then the ram shouldn't be electric because yes its gonna be torquey but then again milage won't be so brilliant where as with a diesel you get loads of torque and good milage. What's the point of have a car with a towing capability that blows through the roof but has a low milage

The problem with EV cars is that ,you cannot simply make a small European hatchback or a middle sized sedan without compromising size,if it's not too heavy,it will have less batteries and a pathetic range.i dont think EV cars are a good idea for us normal people,I think evs should be used by other types of cars,like big trucks,taxis,buses,public transport etc.

there are several classic models that could due with a comeback as an EV Chevrolet Impala/Caprice Buick Skylark Cadillac Eldorado/Seville/ Deville/Allante/Fleetwood Ford Crown Victoria/Lincoln town car etc. some of these I've actually ridden in as a kid Cadillac Coupe Deville Fleetwood as a limousine Skylark Caprice Crown Vic 9C1 cop car dad is a retiring Boston Police Patrolman and Lincoln Town car uncle Dan had a used signature series model when I was a kid he currently drives a Ford Edge crossover SUV and his wife drives a 2017 Focus RS sedan she is a nurse the only other Ford I've ridden in that wasn't a truck/SUV is a 1992 Ford Tempo my aunt Barbara had used when I was in grade school mid 1990s my late maternal grandmother had a dark Royal Blue pearl used 1984 Buick Skylark when I was a toddler yeah sure she got in an accident in the Skylark though it wasn't her fault somebody sideswiped her she later traded the Skylark for a 1990 Toyota Camry maroon red pearl over black cloth interior and her 2nd Camry my younger brother drives now is Sand Pearl Beige over Fawn tan cloth interior the first trim in which you could upgrade the interior to leather back then was SE the unlocked price from IRA Toyota for a Camry XLE with taxes and fees included is $37,720 or a monthly payment of $608.00 over 62.045 months little more than 5 years mind you between model years 1977 and 1979 the Chevrolet Impala/Caprice sold 1.7 million cars in the US while between 2007 & 2009 the Toyota Camry sold 1.3 million cars in those 3 years there are currently 8 trim levels for Camry starting at LE and topping out at XSE V6 starting price 26,000 to 36,400 before options taxes and fees depending on which dealer you buy the car from the LE for 2005 model year listed around 20K and we got 1,525 off because of being a repeat shopper at the dealership and it missing XM Satellite radio her monthly payment for the car over 5 years 308.00 a month now the monthly payment for an LE is 433.33 over 5 years
