Surprising, malware can't be detected just because its written in new language or less popular language like Golang.. So every new language using hackers mostly upper and win it, no?

Awesome video! :) just a question: what do you think about Rust? I have been learning rust for a while and I believe the security community also likes it due to being so safe and being so fast in terms of run speed. But I'm not sure about its actual usage in the work world :p
@WithSandra3 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much Catarina! :) I havent personally used it or know someone who uses it in cyber security but ofc companies just tend to stick to certain groups of languages so that may be why! It's definitely well-loved by the community and the flexibility and performance it gives you definitely makes it an awesome language for cyber, it would def set you apart when looking for diff roles in cyber too, thank you for mentioning this! :D

Hi. Rust is also a phenomenal language for cybersecurity. There are already books that shows how to write scripts and programs for ethical hacking. The salient features of the language such as eliminating memory buffer issues (about 70% of exploits in C or C++ due to poor coding techniques), it's just about as fast as C or C++ and third it's also a system programming language which implies you can make tiny adjustments and tools under the hood of the operating system. One of the reason most malwares are created in C or C++ is for this very reason too. So yeah it's great although quite green, the development is still going through many changes being such a young language.

So do you need to know all 7 languages or can you be good in just 3 or 4 and be ok?
@WithSandra9 ай бұрын
Definitely don't need to know more 3 to 4, in fact knowing 2 languages well is better than knowing 3-4 languages at an "okay" level, start with a popular language thats easy for beginners like Python and that's already a great place to start! Best of luck! :)

@@WithSandra Thank you so much for the advice i just bought the 100 days of python by angela yu on udemy so ill start there and may learn SQL but now i feel alot better know i don't need 7 languages just the thought of it was brain busting! :)
