No, J-1 visa holders are only permitted to work for the employer that is listed on their DS-2019 form.

@@j-1visaconsulting258 Thanks for the info. What about my wife, If she is able to get employment authorization document. Can she work part time and full time on J2 visa.?

@@Yasinzaii If your wife has obtained the J-2 EAD, she should be able to work unrestricted for any employer in the U.S. I hope this helps!
