I have to said that, I discover solible graphite from Faber Castell, and I use it with my Caran'DAche Supracolor II soft, and soluble graphite and watercolor pencils are a good complement for each other! I love it! ❤❤❤

TFS, so nice to see we pencils as the star of the show! I have Fc and CD pencils, love the more natural and subtle colours in the CD. Definitely better to have a few of the best rather than many of the cheaper ones.

I think it was the Faber Castell white watercolor pencil

I prefer the Caran d'Ache Museum Aquarelle because it provides better colour selection for portraits and the skin colours are more lightfast than their rival product. But Faber-Castell Albrecht Durer provides better colour selection of greens, blues and pinks although most pinks and violets provide awful to mediocre Lightfastness, at least they are easier to control than their rival product the Museum Aquarelle.

Hello! What type of paper is recommended for Watercolor pencils?

Smooth with some tooth and thick 270 -300gsm. Watercolor or drawing/coloring book kind. Watercolor is better for painting landscapes.
