@@caydenjohns2440 nope, it's my 2nd favorite & I think it is as a concept the most unique one! The only problem with this path is that Rhea should've been playable in part 2. Here's why I like SS contrary to most: 1. In SS there are no lords, which is very unique. Seteth is amazing too. 2. You don't kill anyone from BL/GD & only kill Edelgard/Hubert because they waged war. 3. You have no territory or army in SS unlike the other 3. 4. You are a small resistance group with defectors from the empire who don't like how Edel is behaving (BE students). 5. Edelgard works really well in SS as she starts out with u as a good student then turns villain when u discover she's the flame emperor, in CF she's at her worst, u see her evil ways 1st hand & tbh the writing in CF is just not good, in GD she's a nobody side villain who is relegated as a brainwashed idiot by TWSitD as Claude said, in BL she gets humanized a bit which is cool I guess. 6. The BE students are really well written in SS, as the devs said SS is the 1st path they wrote & the default path, so it makes since how the students work so well in SS.

Ingrid's prejudice has to do with experience, being the loss of her future husband at the Tragedy of Duscar. Hilda's prejudice is from outright ignorance, which imo is worse than prejudice from experience.

Despite this arranged marriage, chances are that their marriage could have been a good one since Glenn embodied the ideals of chivalry Ingrid strives for, as discussed in her Mercedes B-support. Plus, in Ingrid's death quote, she mentions joining Glenn, indicating he meant a lot to her.

I love Ingrid, but she is my least favourite BL. Her racism would be more tolerable to me if she was more interesting. She has a good story at the core of her but the fact that her supports were so fucking redundant made a character with so much heart so fucking boring to me. And when one of the few non repetitive things she spouts is abject racism, I was so done with her.

@@Underworlder5 A little late here, but I believe I read somewhere *Maybe TV tropes or some other fourm* that a reason for that is because he didn't want to brunden her because he knows she's got some serious stuff going on anyway... Which is a fine reason but honestly I think it's even more of a reason they should had hooked up! I mean, they were both abused by someone that they shared blood with and they both suffered due to the concept of marriages within the nobility of Folden. (Sylivain becoming so numb to it all that it affected his outlook on women and Bernadetta because... Count Varley.) If they had an A support that went into more depth about their personal issues it would had been great. Sorry for the rant, I'm still scourned by the lack of an A support between the two.

felix being rough around the edges or not is 100 times more interesting than ashe or ingrid even though i like ashe and ingrid he has interesting character development too with his father and dimitri and even sylvain & when he's recruited in different routes his development is becoming completely ruthless instead of becoming softer like in blue lions he's top 5 best-written characters besides house leaders in thee houses i said what i said having done all the routes (blue lions multiple times) and all the supports (besides dlc characters in which i've only done with blue lions route which you can recruit the ost people in the game on so i've done most of them anyway)

I love your work on each video, you’re my hero when it comes to making fire emblem videos! Always puts a smile in my face when I have a rough day, which has been a lot for me growing up. My personal list for the blue lions, who are my favorite cast in three houses, are as follows: 8. Felix, you summed him up perfectly and I love how he’s a voice of reason to Dimitri 7. Sylvain, not the biggest fan of skirt chasers but he dose have some good supports hidden in there 6. Dedue, love him so much as a character but it’s hard to give him a good class since he’s canonized as a fortress knight but I like him as a war master personally 5. Ingrid, good Pegasus knight and I love her eating habits cause I relate 4. Ashe, good boy and good archer 3. Mercedes, kind, sweet, best healer in the game 2. Dimitri, strong, great character development, great voice acting, memorable quotes/moments, is just an awesome and somewhat relatable guy when he hits depression phase 1. Annette, best girl, adorable, ray of sunshine in my life, the whole reason I pick blue lions over black eagles any day!!!!

Favorite house, favorite group in a game full of top tier characters. 8- Yeah, he’s a Tsundere for sure. 7- Well damn, Annette is a Disney princess. Headcanon accepted! 6- You know the writing staff knew what they were doing when they made another poon hound character actually have a reason, and good and tragic reason, for skirt chasing. 5- Ashe represents a personally important character quality for me, optimism tempered by realism. In a crap sack world, someone who tries to help others find the silver lining can be a irreplaceable. 4- I honestly didn’t know what to think of Pseudo-Archer at first, but halfway through the academy phase I started to realize how bad he had it and how much it didn’t bother him. 3- Cards on the table, Mercedes is my BL waifu. She simultaneously seems like someone who would never step on a battlefield but also makes sense why she’s there. (Also why didn’t she have a support with Marianne?) 2- Is it an understatement to say this girl needs a hug? Then again that could apply to everyone in 3Hs. Man this game can be depressing. 1- So. Freaking. Good! I love , love, love Dimitri! He sold me on the game as a whole, the rest of the game could have been meh and Dimitri still would have made me say it was a good game. I’ll probably always wonder about how Fodlan could have turned out if he and El worked together. Oh well, that’s 3Hs for ya, no true happy endings.

And the worst she is in her C support with Dedue is cold and snippy, unlike a certain childhood friend of hers who I wouldn't blame Dedue for punching across the room. @@Pridekun97 ehr support with Raph is poorly written, but her support with Dimitri was really good imo. Glenn is important to her, and please remember shes 17 and Glenn died when she was like, 13. Him dying completely derailed her life - not only did she love and admire him, but marrying him was what would save her entire family and house. Him dying meant her "secure future" was now gone, and leads to her woes of her dad wanting to marry her off to various wealthy suitors. Dimitri & Ingrid addressing Glenn's death, and both their ideals and feelings was incredibly well done in their support.

I really like seeing others take on their favorite 3Houses characters since almost every playable character is likable. As For my preference: 8. Annette: While she is cute, she doesn’t have much depth to her character and I find her eh compared to everyone else in the BL that said if anyone likes her then that’s good I personally just found her not interesting compared to almost every other playable character. 7. Ashe: My Favorite of the “early game archer trio”(Him, Bernie, and Ignaiz) As I think Felix said It best, Ashe is “Bold and Gregarious” 6. Mercedes: While I prefer Linhart and Marianne, Mercedes was still a reliable Medic, was my Dancer, and was a lovely lady and her support with Sylvain always makes me ship those two and their pared ending is beautiful (And after learning the truth about What her step dad Bartels was planning to do to her I don’t blame her half brother Emile/Jeriza Killing His own Dad and turning into The Death Knight. And I thought Varly, Desmond and Chrom’s Dad were scummy) 5. Dedue: or as I like to call him “Fodlarion Aggron” due to his stats, his time skip appearance and especially his boss fight in Crimson Flower. He also is tied with Seth, Kaze, and Felicia as my favorite Vassal in FE 4. Sylvain: Along with the previously mentioned Mercedes Support, He definitely surprised me with his deep character and his boss fight with him Vs. His brother was very sad considering Miklan’s fate (And I love it that if he is on your team, Byleth can openly tell Rhea “Bich I’m keeping the Lance of Ruin” seriously that feels so good) 3. Felix: AKA, Comag’s long lost brother. Jokes aside I thought he was going to be Shinon 2.0 but his supports with Byleth, Dimitri, Ingrid, Ashe, Annette, and Lysithea really shows that despite his rough exterior, he really cares about his friends deep down and he has every right to call Dimitri a “Boar Prince” considering how he “Suppressed” that rebellion two years prior (and by “suppressed” I mean slathered, to quote Anakin Dimitri “Slathered them like animals”) P.S. Never glorify your child’s death you family WILL turn against you. 2. Ingrid: One of my top three best non major character units (alongside Lysithea and Petra) and now my 2nd favorite Pegasus Knight in all of FE next to best girl Cordelia. Ingrid was a great character and was easily the woman I married once the War was over (Also That Naruto clip fits Sylvain/Naruto, Ingrid/Sakura and Byleth/Kakashi. Just need Felix/Sasuke and Linhart/Shikamou and you fill the whole reference.) 1. Dimitri: what else needs to be said. After how much I hated Ephriam I was so grateful that we finally got a lance lord done right and his reaction to the Flame Emperor reveal was perfect and commend on Cris Hackney’s performance as he nailed Dimitri to a T and every scene that he is a “Boar Prince” In always makes my spine chill right to the bone.

For me, my favorite character, not just for the Blue Lions but Three House, is Ashe. The best way I can put it is he's the unit I most want to be friends with. He's optimistic, but not blindly so. I really love his voice actor's performance as it only makes him more wonderful. Plus I just love silver hair on characters in general. Also in the first mission with him, he scored a crit with a one percent chance. I took that as a good omen.

That DBZ moment you put in on Dimitri made me laugh so much because it’s so spot on how powerful he is. Blue Lions was actually the first group I chose for Three Houses. The characters in Three Houses are just fantastic.

I TOTALLY CALLED WHO WAS GOING TO BE FIRST AND LAST ON YOUR LIST. Also it just hit me yesterday that Glenn Fraldarius is NOT the first big brother named Glenn who was horribly murdered. Three Houses REALLY makes you work for that character development with so many blah C supports. Ashe is living proof that a character can mature without throwing their idealism in the trash. Such a good boy. THANK YOU FOR BRINGING UP JILL. I mean , I get that some 3H players might not be familiar with Tellius so they didn't see Jill spouting slurs against the Laguz and being told off for it by Ike and Lethe, but she starts out objectively LOADS worse than Ingrid ever was. She makes one comment in the Blue Lions route during an exploration, and she's cold to Dedue. And at least she realizes right out of the gate in their C support that she's being unfair. I married Dimitri in my most recent Blue Lions run, and I've jumped on the shipping train. It took me a while because his other pairings grabbed me quicker and as for house leaders, Edelgard is My Girl and Claude/Byleth is just a great interaction overall. Dimitri is a shining example of a redemption arc, and for a heroic character to boot. Fandom and even the media itself likes to believe once a character crosses the moral event horizon that's it, they're a monster and they can never be a good person again, but Dimitri's arc flips that mindset the finger by showing that yes, you CAN become a good person and atone for your sins. What are your top ships for Three Houses, or supports in general? Think we'll ever see a video with either? I'm very much looking forward to your Golden Deer video in the future!

She also has multiple good supports like her support with Dimitri, Felix, and Mercedes, not just with her father. She doesn't need to be a really deep character full of personality, I just feel happy inside every time I see her supports. Either way it's just an opinion..

Felix at the bottom? He's one of my favorites both unit wise and character wise, I like his spin on how Chivalry just leads good men to pointless deaths, I like how he has the balls to call out Dimitri on who he really is, and that support with Seteth is one of my favorites despite only reaching B, although that is mostly because of Seteth's near poetic speak. And he's just a monster on the field.

@@davyt0247 Pretty much your average Ingrid. She's a Falcon Knight and she has decent but not amazing Strength while having amazing Speed. She's dodge-tanking most of the enemies and she's definitely serving her purposes.

@@davyt0247 Well in my current run, Ashe is the other flyer I have and he is the more Strength focused flyer and he's the one deeling with those armored units. I gotta say though, in one of my runs I had a Swordmaster Ingrid and that Ingrid had better Strength and better combat results in general, aside from not having flying of course. Such is the fate that rng gives me....

Like you I'm more of a Black Eagles man myself, and while I enjoyed the Azure Moon route, it was Dimitri who carried it. After playing CF and VW, the BL cast was the weakest to me, with only Ingrid and Dimitri really having an impact on me (Ingrid is actually one of my favourite characters in the game). I'm with you on your opinion of Silver Snow, that route was depressing and disappointing.

42:15 nah, all that’s neccesary is battalion vantage+battalion wrath+ chalice of beggenings and he will become an absolute monster on enemy phase. He becomes like half the pair ups in awakening where you can just dump him in the middle of a bunch of enemies skip the enemy phase and see that everyone except Dimitri is dead(that’s kind of morbid considering the whole tragedy of duscar). The battalion vantage wrath combo is even more potent than just the standard vantage wrath combo because he can do it at full health

I’ve only completed two playthroughs, but both times, I’ve made felix a war master. He quads everything with gauntlets, hits like a truck on his own, crits everything, and his crest actives at least once per round of combat

Yeah, felix and lysithea are the only 2 characters who’s crests are decently reliable. They both have a 40% activation rate on every hit and considering how fast both of them are(especially considering Felix can quad) it’s almost guaranteed the crest procs at least once

Blue Lions was my first house, so it's my favorite, but really I love all of them and pretty much all the characters have grown on me. (Except 1 or 2 *looks at Rhea*). Dedue is by far my favorite romance of the routes so far. Which when I got the game I was purely going with Ashe because he is so adorable! And then realized I can do all the supports at the end by saving and reloading so I have seen all the female so far for Blue Lions (Minus Gilbert) and the other houses. Dedue was the one that made me cry and just feel so happy, with his because I was so happy that he wasn't putting Dimitri first for once but what he himself wanted and that just seemed like such a good character growth.

I feel like Felix is getting too much criticism for his standoff-ish nature. It's the subtle things about him that makes him such a good character. He trains to become the best there is and there is a few supports where he's showing concern on other's well-being. He's lost his brother in a rebellion and his father singing his praises of a warrior's death. Guess what Felix's Crest weapon is? A shield! He's training to become the best so he can protect everyone! He doesn't want anyone else to suffer a loss like he had.

See that's the key word here "a few supports". Some supports a very strong and his history is fantastic but my problem with Felix is the ratio is not in his favour and during a lot of his supports he contributes very little to the conversation, still a good character but my least fav of the bunch.

Been a long time fan of your work Blazingknight, it's been quite a journey seeing how your content has grown and changed and i still watch your lists from time to time, it is so interesting seeing other people's perspectives on other characters, i have Ashe and Felix as my favorites in blue lions but do understand that you might feel different there. I'm very interested in seeing what your opinion of Golden Deer will be, many of them seem unassuming at first or even irritating but do get quite a bit better in post time skip (i personally hate Lysithea though even with post time skip but Lorenz i think is underrated and Leonie i haven't really looked at her supports but she seems alright). Will you be tackling the "faculty"? as i call them? as in your opinions on ones like Rhea, Cyril and Shamir? Looking forward to seeing your opinion on Golden Deer and maybe even the faculty, keep up the good work ;)

BEST HOUSE EVER(in my opinion) 8:I love Felix! My favorite non lord and 2nd favorite character in the game! He is also the first character I S-Supported after beating Azure Moon for the first time(he is my 3 houses husbando), he is my favorite swordmaster in the series(Replacing Lon’qu from Awakening) also he is my favorite Tsundere. 7:Annette is cute! Her support with Felix is my favorite blue lion support. She was my blue lions mage who also uses axes(she is what I call her a ax mage.) 6: Sylvain was a great unit for me in my blue lions run! He was my lucky paladin. While he is not my favorite fire Emblem skirt chaser(that honor goes to Inigo/Laslow) I love his personality. He is my 4th favorite blue lions character. 5: Ashe is my 3rd favorite blue lions character! He is such a cinnamon roll in this game(PLEASE PUT HIM IN HEROES DAMN IT!!!) he was one one of my best units because he is the best sniper in the game in my opinion! he’s my 3rd favorite sniper next to Takumi and Innes. 4: I not a fan of Dedue that much but I like his loyalty to Dimitri. He was a decent fortress knight. 3: My favorite female member of the blue lions, my 5th favorite blue lions character and my favorite healer in the game! She was the best healer in my blue lions run! I love her kind personality! She is like a mom and older sister to everyone. I love her friendship with Annette. 2: I like Ingrid but she was a disappointing unit in my run because she died a lot. She was my Pegasus knight in the blue lions. I recruited her in my golden deer run and I plan to make her a paladin. Also I noticed that she is the 1st female Abel archetype(due to the green armor she wears in the timeskip) 1:Called it! My favorite member of the Blue Lion house, my favorite character in all of 3 Houses, my favorite lord in Fire Emblem and my 2nd favorite character in the entire series!(next to Kaze from Fates) Overall great list! Actually with Sylvain. Miklan was set aside due to Sylvain being born with the Crest. He was only disowned and exiled after he attempted to KILL the young Sylvain. Hopes practically made a character arc with him and his now on-screen father resolving around that issue ESPECIALLY with Miklan! Hell Sylvain feels that if the Crest were never in play, his brother wouldn't have been so hostile (as he wouldn't have been set aside) and they MIGHT have had a relationship as BROTHER'S. Hell it's implied that his father might have had regrets for how he handled everything! On Paper, you can see making Sylvain the air assures the Crest bearer of the Lance of Ruin is in a position of command of the family and so can remain effective! But in hindsight it only brought more problems then it should have brought! Edelgard even mentions how effective Miklan was at commanding his bandits and he was a skilled commander! Likely taken from the training he received BEFORE he was set aside when Sylvain was born. Where he was likely being trained as a SUBORDINATE to Sylvain for the future which again, on paper he'd have made a great commander for his younger brother. But it never took into mind human nature where resentment would have been born from this! I mean it's one of the factors that Got Rufus! Dimitri uncle and Lambert's brother to be involved in TWSiTD plans to kill the King and frame Duscur over it because despite if I remember! Rufus being born first, Lambert was the one born with the Crest. So Rufus only hope of being king was him and Dimitri dying....and boy did THAT bite him in the ass! The man grew more insane with fear the longer Dimitri lived no matter WHICH timeline! With Three Hopes being him jumping the gun SOONER and Three Houses having him KILLED to deprive Dimitri of his kingdom and resources (though it was MORE to make things easier for Edelgard by allowing those in the Kingdom who turn coat to her side to "legally" get rid of him if not for Dedue interference! And whatever happened in Crimson Flower that allowed him to still be King). Also to add that Ingrid is the LAST person he'd flirt with (being that as you showed, "she's his MINDER") also helps that she's his childhood friend so he's "off limited her" ESPECIALLY AFTER THE MENTIONING OF HER SWEET GRANNY LOL! People really have no imagination on HOW anyone would defect to the other side in the War Arc! Forgetting that they TRANSFERED over to another House. But still kept their loyality to their home country till Part 2 happens! For the Black Eagles! It's Edelgard's extremist and them having forged bonds with those of the other houses that cause them to defect! Or in the case of Silver Snow. Them forced on the run till the "Reunion" happened! Crimson Flower Blue Lion defects do have sense! Ingrid's support with others involving her Knight dream make it CLEAR to her it's not as "Glamorous" as she thinks it is! Even Catherine making it clear that she's more her Lord's (Byleth in this case! Or Dimitri in the other) "Hatchet Man!" Their lord orders deaths. You ask "how many and in which way!" there is no REFUSAL lest you forfeit your knightly vows! It is HEAVILY implied that EVERYONE in your house starting Crimson Flower is there when Rhea flips out and goes all "Immaculate One" on Byleth! And their also around when Edelgard finally lets them in on WHAT she was on about FINALLY! So a Black Eagle Ingrid already made clear she was with the Empire as BYLETH'S KNIGHT! And the story DOESN'T let her walk away from the knowledge and consequences of her choice! Her people FURIOUS with her for different reasons! Either AIDING in treason/Regicide or Leaving them high and dry to fight OUTSIDE their kingdom! Only Azure Moon lets her get off on not being in the Territory because she's fighting for King Dimitri! Hell the Kingdom characters REALLY don't have it easier in Crimson Flower and their aware of it! Sylvain only in it to see the Crest System that plagued his life GONE! And Felix getting his independance! But at the STEEP cost of siding and potentially KILLING his friends and father! You can hear the despair in his voice as he acknowledges what he's done as thought he WANTS Dimitri to come at him with full force and make him "pay for what he's done!" Mercedes is only HEAVILY effected IF Annette is involved! Otherwise being originally a Imperial Citizen! I can see her seeing as GOOD is she's finally reunited with her little brother Emile/Death Knight in this case! At the potential cost of her relationship with Annette as THREE HOPES really shows since Edelgard's route Mercedes and Ashe are the ONLY Kingdom characters that can be recruited from there! Ashe I REALLY feel bad for because his case is he only defects because Lonato convinces him to stand down and not lose his life over the situation! While he's happy to be on the same side with his Adopted father. He is fully aware this is at the cost of his DREAM to follow in him and his adopted brother's footsteps by violating his Knightly Vow! Even if Lonato points out that he also did so by his own actions so he's not alone in this! Only Kingdom character NOT to give him shit is Dedue who encourages him to see his path to his end with NO bitterness! Ingrid is the only one who REALLY shows anger and calls him "all talk"
