The classic Tetris is completely different than the modern Tetris. Tetrominos are more random and not always evenly distributed, only the very next tetromino is known and there's no hold. This means the classic Tetris is more about risk management and decisions while the modern Tetris is more about execution. You can't play the classic Tetris using only tetrises.

This is really entertaining to watch... I'm not really into video games or Tetris but I watched a couple minutes of a match and I was hooked. I bet if they played the Tetris championship on ESPN or something they'd get a decent amount of viewers with some advertising. I did not expect to watch two hours worth of Tetris matches when I first clicked this video...

Dear Lord, can they do their ADS at any worse times?!?! I mean seriously, at the most critical time in this elimination match between Quaid and Bo, they start their announcements loud as shit over the speakers. They did this during the Final right at crunch time for Quaid and it clearly distracted him and possibly made him lose... Crazy.

Kaeden Ngai-Natsuhara Dude everyone knows that. But a joke doesn't justify what it's about. As if you could say anything you want ever as long as you tag it as a joke. You are such an idiot. That's actually how we fall into lawlessness through what we allow ourselves to say. And you've justified saying anything as long as it's a joke. WOW. It's no wonder this world is so worthless and evil. It's because of people like you and your mentality.

Im just getting into tetris. Can someone explain what the long bar with the counter is?
@jtsax956 жыл бұрын
Random Pearson it's counting the total number of long bars the game has given the player. If you see the number change and turn red, it's alerting the player there is "drought" of that many pieces without a long bar. Go to 42:25 and look at quaids. The number goes red and changes to show how many pieces he's gone without a long bar. Once he gets one, the number switches back to how many long bars he's had total.
