I was (the same as most), given diagnosis stage 4, sent home arm only with the knowledge " get ready for a transplant or dialysis, and see you in 4 months". Suddenly felt like I was falling Out of Control .. Thank you, does not feel enough... You have given me hope and courage to keep fighting..

Excellent information! Thank you for putting in the time and hard work to help those of us with PKD. The future of PKD looks clearer. I, in particular, am following the Keto diet adjusted to PKD, SUGAR FREE, very low in carbohydrates, low in protein, with healthy fats and based on plants. I am happy, because I am already in ketosis 1.2. And I can't wait to see my results in the next analysis. Thanks again!

Great video! The main things I did when I was diagnosed over 20 years ago was increase water (I already consumed a lot), reduce sodium even more, and be a bit more mindful of what I ate. Over the past three years i started cutting way back on carbs and sugar and what a diff!!….I lost 20lbs and my BP meds were decreased by 20 mg. I’ve recently started KetoCitra as well as learning the ins and outs of a plant based keto diet. So thankful for all the new knowledge I’ve gained. 🤗

Take supplements to slow it down: I take Like 9 supplements . Also eat honey ginger garlic and onion . These are the 9 supplements that can slow it down . Take all of them at once please! Reseveratrol , mushroom extract , grapefruit seed extract, black seed oil, magnesium, multivitamin, vitamin D, olive leaf ,quercetin and lycopene . These are all natural and studies prove that many of these slow PKD progression and cyst formation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You’ll be ok if you do this and sleep enough exercise and hydrate and reduce stress salt sugar protein . My disease PKD is late stage so it may be too late for me but anyone who does this approach Ive come up with will live longer and healthier with PKD

Hi - congrats on your health may I ask ... How is the Keto Citra? What are your protein sources?

@@lisaariottiart thank you so much. Going pretty good still. Because of my IBS I do still eat some meat and mix it up a bit with some lean turkey, eating too much greens bothers my gut. Doing more intermittent fasting now with the KetoCitra as well. I still fall off the wagon from time to time but so much easier to get back on track when that happens. 😊 I can also report that I have little to no pain/uncomfortableness in my abdomen area anymore (my TKV was the problem for me but it’s gotten better as well. Hopefully have some scans soon)

This is excellent advice. Simple and easy to follow. I've been lucky enough to have had good nephrologists over the years who helped me with my "journey" but I know many other patients who haven't been so lucky. I've been drinking 3 liters of water every day for 12 years now, and it reduced by blood pressure (forced me to reduce my BP meds), it helped my joints, and greatly reduced kidney pain. I've been watching my sodium for decades and now "bad food" primarily tastes bad because it's just so salty. Lately, I've added KetoCitra to my routine and it has speeded up my metabolism (another 5 pounds melted right off), I've felt sharper overall, and my function is stable. Thanks for making this video!

Still the same - I have been at 20 GFR for 3 years now since I started the 17:7 time restricted diet and the KetoCitra. It was rapidly deteriorating in the years before that.

Is KetoCitra going to be available in the UK? Shipping and customs charges from the US would put me off from buying it

The last one I won't do. The price of your product is too high. I can get very nearly the same thing elsewhere for less cost.

technically anyone could go and purchase their own BHB and citrates; however, Most over the counter BHB products on the market contain artificial ingredients and electrolytes that are potentially harmful for PKD and CKD patients. KetoCitra has been formulated specifically with kidney safety in mind by kidney/PKD research specialists. It is science-backed to ensure that the BHB is bound to citrates in a safe dose. KetoCitra also contains a blend of beneficial electrolytes that are not in BHB or citrate separately. The cost of KetoCitra is reflective of this, and the entire process requires time, commitment and dedication to put the safety of our customers as our top priority. If Santa Barbara Nutrients can provide any other information, please let us know.

I agree. There are situations in life where you don't look for the cheapest alternative. These people aren't just out for our money but they can't do it for free. As a small business owner myself, this mentality is very annoying. You want the cheapest alternative? Go get itc but don't complain later that the citric/bhb treatment doesn't work

What is your opinion in first/second stage PKD with a small bit of rice? I'm ready to do whatever it takes not to end up like my father but I don't know if I can stay 100% carb free until I die. I'm 38

Hi Ian, great question. You can certainly have small bites of rice with your meals. It would be best to ask and work with a renal dietitian for more information regarding your nutrition plan. You definitely do not have to stay completely carb free. I certainly do not. My weakness is sourdough bread….just in moderation.
