why dosn't anyone make a video about ground tripods of 1.5m extension to move sideways and up and down. I want to use something like Hama 61 or similar. What tripods do you need??

Hey, I was just wondering would the action battery stick and the rode videomicro (also the adapter) be good if you were going on a zip lining experience?

Hmm. Good question. I'm not sure. I'd be worried about dropping it. So the more lightweight you can make the set-up the better. Also, you might experience quite big wind on the line, which might be a little much for the video micro, but again, I'm not sure because I haven't tried it in those types of conditions. However, theoretically it should work. Let me know if you give it a try. I'd be curious how it works. I did zip-lining once, but use the GoPro Session camera which worked great. A bit windy at times, but it worked out great and the setup was very light.

when u attached the video micro to the joby arm did u need an attachement? cuz I tried it but the hole on the screw for the micro mic is bigger than the screw on the joby how did u do it?

Hi Surge. Yes, sorry, you will need a small adaptor to change the size of the mounting. Most camera shops should have it, and it should be cheap. You screw the adaptor into the micro mount and then you can attach it to any tripod sized mount. Hope this helps.

could the joby grip and mic connect with the gopro session?

+Noah Grund Hi! The grip can, but that means you have to have the battery door open and it will no longer be waterproof while open. The door doesn't open that well while in the frame either, but you could use it to charge in between uses. Unfortunately there is no external mic port on the session, so the mic won't work at all. Hope this helps!

Can any of the grip items tilt?

Do you mean the Joby Battery Grip? If yes, the grip is fixed, but you can use GoPro mounts to tilt / set in the angles you want. In the case of my example in the video, I am able to tilt the gopro up and down (forward / backward not left / right) and because I'm using the Joby accessory on the bottom, I can adjust the mic in almost any direction. Hope this helps!
