I used to play Xbox 360 terraria, I wound up with some funky worldgen, I remember I had a jungle spawn once, and there was one world I had that just had a ton of completely flat vertical cliffs for some reason.

I found a seed where you spawn in the crimson but it's on a secret seed and if I try to share it it would just make a different world on the secret seed

None of the aboveground cabin seeds have aboveground cabins, but the biome and everything else is as you said. im playing on console version 1.4.4.9.5

I actually found a cavern house at surface level it was just before the jungle in a cave, not buried or anything I could see the house from the floor

I got a friend to buy Terraria, We played co-op. But the thing is, the seed we got was AWEFULL. We spawned between 2 evil biomes and there was nothing at spawn... No cave, no loot. My friend didnt ended up liking the game. We played for 1 hour but made 0 progress. He didnt wanted to start over, because he was so attached to his loot (the 14 random wood, 2 copper ore and a zombie arm. urgh) He never played the game again after that session. I later got a different friend into playing this game. But before we started, I made 20 worlds and just checked the spawns/worlds if it was good. I found 1 interesting seed. Normally you spawn in a forest biome. I thought this was default. Turns out you can spawn in a jungle. I was so confused when I spawned in a jungle. ( 3.3.1.70213838 large world and curruption) Eventually I ofcourse picked a different seed. That seed was pretty good. A long flat spawn, with a cave. The evil biome was way way on the left after the dessert and snow biome. the other side had no evil. He had a way better experience and we made so much more progress and had way more fun, Just beacause the seed was slightly decent. A good seed/world spawn can really change the way someone experiences the game for the first time. I can understand if you dont like the game, because you had a terrible first ever seed and you couldnt find stuff. The first impression is very important haha

I had a buddy who gave me a txt list of seeds he found like a while back, before my 1st seed video, either from other people, videos, reddit, whatever etc, and he sent them to me... checked em, reviewed them, and here we are today.

Back in 2017, (pre 1.3 console) my main world had a seed that generated a jungle temple with a huge gap above the door. I was able to get into the temple pre hardmode😂

I remember trying tk find a swed to speedrun hermes boots and like the 4th seed there was a surface layer caben that had hermes boots... at spawn, you could get it in like 3/4 seconds I still got the seed but Im unsure the game version, may be labor of love. Not at home so unsure of seed currently but its straight up "give me the damm yellow boots" or smth very similar

Some if not most of these seeds are outsourced from other places in the Terraria community (Discord, KZbin, Reddit, Forums, etc). For example, there is a community around what is called the Super Seed Search mod, which allows you to automate the process of filtering seeds for certain worldgen characteristics. They have managed to find some incredible worldgen phenomena, including the seed featured at 6:38. You might enjoy some of the other seeds they have found, from spawning on an enchanted sword and hermes boots (1.0.2.1404958413) to spawning on a detonator (1.0.1.195246753). Supposedly @MottTerraria did some research and wanted to share his favorites with his viewers. Or, perhaps he asked his viewers to share the craziest seeds they knew for him to upload. In either case, the professionally honest thing to do would be to cite those sources, and promptly answer questions like this! It doesn't have to be hard, it can be as simple as dropping links in the description, or saying "Thank you to the people on my Discord for sharing seeds for this video!". But it's definitely the right thing to do moving forward if you care about building a good community @MottTerraria.

You know what’s really funny? Literally yesterday- me and a friend of mine made a new world on terraria to get an enchanted sword because we couldn’t find anymore in our main world (and gave away the sword he did have to a friend) And we ended up getting the 5th seed in this video I swear to god I didn’t see this video before doing this- Imagine our suprise when we saw the massive chunk of desert just floating. (Actually you don’t have to imagine because I put my reaction on my channel- but that’s besides the point) So yeah funny seeing this seed on here literally hours after me and my friend stumbled across it ourselves.
