Me too! I've bought multiple headsets over the years trying to find a replacement for me CV1 for pcvr, including the quest 3, and ended up returning them all! The psvr2 feels like a keeper

Good timing considering it's on sale for a couple hundred off, and the Horizon bundle is the same price as the headset alone (sadly it wasn't when I bought mine in the last sale 😢) Some solid picks in here, though I've heard the PSVR 2 version of Vertigo 2 has serious issues (like unstable framerate, glitches when you're in vehicles, etc.) that'll likely never get patched. Supposedly runs a bit better on a Pro, but anyone with a base PS5 might have problems. Would've loved to see Madison make the list as well. Hopefully some of the big upcoming games (Alien, Arken Age, Behemoth, Wanderer, etc.) will earn a spot on this list in the future.

Vertigo 2 ran pretty smooth for me, but I’ve heard the same. Madison was just on the outside looking in for my but would’ve been top 10 if I went that far for sure!

I just had the PS5 VR2 as present from my wife, as the black friday sale had hit. The only struggle is that I own a PS5 digital edition, all these great reviewed games on black friday are more then 50% off and I have to pay full map if I dont wanna download from random accounts kinda websites.

Village was awesome in VR. I didn't play it flat screen in hopes of a vr2 release. Couldn't get trophies though which was lame.

What are your thoughts on Sony reducing funding for VR? I know we have behemoth to look forward to but do you think there is still life left or maybe even a resurgence with perhaps a lot more households buying at reduced cost?

I think this holiday season with be a pivotal time for the PSVR2’s life cycle. With major drops like Alien, Behemoth, and Metro entering the space, in tandem with the massive price drop going on right now, it presents a golden opportunity to bring on new users. We will have a much better idea going into next year and it’s wholly dependent on holiday sales.

@ agreed. It seems like they’re flying off the shelves (into my home included) and I’m so happy to see it. It seems like with ps5 hardware there is a lot of potential to be met and there is a library of great looking games. I’m REALLY hoping WarpFrog pulls through with a PCVR port of Blade and Sorcery.

A price cut (like I mentioned was necessary) and an influx of games (which has also happened) were two things I mentioned needed to turn things around. I was and never have been anti PSVR2, (bought mine at launch) that video was addressing the current state of the platform at the time. As far as trusting my reviews that’s your own personal prerogative not mine 🤷🏾

I can't wrap my mind around resident evil 4 not being number 1, but it's not even on this list.. It's the greatest gaming experience for me ever. blows village out the water imo.. i would love to understand what people dont like about it

It’s on the list… it’s 1B, I however didn’t want to put multiple games from same series in countdown. Village has a better atmosphere and storyline imo and the immersive elements just hit better. Truthfully RE7 Biohazard is better than both but I wasn’t including mods.

Still don't get the love for Vertigo 2. Tried it for a second time and not one part of it clicked for me. Between the outdated graphics and level design, the buggy mechanics, I found it frustrating. But hey, to each their own!

I played resi 4 first as I heard that village was more vr interactive, went away disappointed there are just as many press a button moments as resi 4 in village. Didn't bother me in 4 as I was expecting it but village was a let down not only for that but overall story and boss battles were very underwhelming. Resi 4 is my Number one with GT7 right behind it, I don't think village would make my top ten.

To each his own personally, Villages story is waaaaay better than Re4’s but truthfully to me the RE Biohazard is the best VR experience possible
