I actually built this fishy friends deck back before xiangpeng but this sounds way more busted. The deck needed some more interaction and i feel like this combo of aquatic birds is perfect. I actually learned so many new interactions from this video and can't wait for my order of the new additions to come in! This video comes in clutch when I need it. Awesome top too! I was so hyped when i saw an aegisdramon appear in top 6!? Ocean friends ftw!

Good deck profile, the only nitpick i have is he says aegis can play zudomon ace from sources when that is incorrect. Everything that plays based on trait looks for aqua or sea animal in one of its traits, and zudomon ace is a sea beast. Sea Beast != Sea Animal.

Good catch! I misspoke and got aquabeast and sea beast mixed up in my head as I spoke. Sea beasts do not get played from sources you are correct. The scenario never did come up in playtest or in the regional ever so I never got to fix that mistake lol

Solid profile. Not a fan of that many Aegis personally. Fish has access to some super strong removal alongside great maelstrom. Sea of Destruction is solid for helping tuck a Xiang under for playing out via Aegis again as well

I lost to a bad brick in game 3 against imperial lol. Dug 20ish cards and didn't see a level 5 at all. We both bricked but imperial managed to unbrick first :/

i made my own list for this type of deck just the other day, and this gives me more info to work with. in my version, Zudomon is ran alongside Vikemon, Ikkakumon & Jellymons for an aggressive source-stripping engine. this lets me run Joes tamers and get a ton of free memory. Only thing i don’t like is that the Gomemon digivolutions don’t interact well with the other half of the deck’s engine. honestly was considering cutting it as well, and with this video i’m gonna try some more ideas you’ve given me.

I'm wondering if aome of the reasons some of these decks flew under the radar in Asia is because people were too focused on the Yellow and Purple decks. Those colors have been dominating the meta dor awhile now.
