Nba players seem to like the GT Cut 2 because a good amount of them wear it in games. I think the shoe might be better for heavier ppl (nba players) that appreciate the cushion more compared to averaged sized ppl

Jordan 37 is amazing. Lightweight players don’t like it because of how the cushion works. The more you put into it, the more it gives you in response.

I think it’s more complicated than that, jordan 37s are fine performance wise but I’m over 200lbs 6’5” and I feel like I didn’t get as much from the shoe as advertised, but compared to a shoe like the WOW10 which has a similar shape, doens’t compromise in court feel and provides better cushion and bounce than the Jordan 37 did for me. It could be the carrier foam or the upper feeling cheap but the jordan 37s just felt cheap in comparison which isn’t great for a $175 shoe.

I have issues with my forefoot and need a lot of cushioning. Thank God these Jordans came out. They were just what I needed. I don't feel unstable at all. That's what's so strange about reviews. Everyone has different needs, foot shapes and so on. That's why I never base my purchase on a review. But, I like watching them because they're the first to get their hands on new products.

I love my GT Cut 2. I am planning to get a 3rd pair if another nice colourway drops. I love the cushioning and didn’t feel that it’s that high off the ground despite being a guard. Lebron 20, KD 15 are equally high off the ground so to speak.

Bron 20s are definitely a lower ride. Forefoot fit in the cut 2 is ridiculously narrow and heel slip is as bad as kd15s.

@@filipiino96793 I found the leather versions of Lebron 20 less playable (higher?) than the knitted upper versions. LB20 is indeed the better all rounder. But I was just responding to Sammy’s personal worst 8, which is the reverse for me, more like top 8 for me. The heel slippage doesn’t bother me, once I concentrate on playing forefoot and tightness gone after shoe broke in. Happy hooping. Enjoy your LB20.

I had no fit problems with the one take 4 actually. It really depends on who's wearing. My only real problem with it is the cushioning. Experienced some heel pain while wearing and after wearing.

It highly depends on your foot shape. The best way someone can determine if a basketball shoe is good or not is trying it in store. It’s his opinion and I think you should respect it. People with wide feet shouldn’t get the GT cut 2s because going up half a size will cause heel slippage. It might be good for narrow footers but not every shoe is the same for every foot shape

Just as someone who puts shoes in, plays simple pick up games at 24hr fitness. That’s it. There is a reason you don’t see him actually playing in clips. He says he’s “shifty”. Look at his older clips. He’s not shift. Jeremy Jones is shifty(another KZbinr). And he like them. He can also dunk and is under 6ft. He was one of two with Kick Genius. A reviewer worth respecting based on performance. I ran a 4.3 40 and and a 40+ vert. I know what I’m talking when I leave reviews on Reddit. I’m just trying to help people out who can actually hoop, and aren’t just casual hoopers or just aren’t “good”. It’s no hate. I’m just being honest about it bud.

@@Mcali1984 that’s not my point. The point I’m making is that everyone is different. I wore them at outlets and didn’t like them cause it’s too high off the ground. That’s my foot though. I’m more used to wearing kyries and Kobe’s so the fit is more low to the ground. Everyone has their likes and dislikes and you just need to try them out at outlets before making a purchase. This guy probably isn’t the best hooper but he can still share his opinions.

AJ 36 low is trash. Good cushion and traction but the lockdown and support is probably the worst I’ve ever worn.

I think the 37 gets a bad rap from the thin materials and Grant Williams tearing through them. I feel contained in them and I love the forefoot cushion. The heel isn’t bad just add a Move insole and you get better cushion in the heel. I wish the fit was a bit more 1:1, but I didn’t feel any containment issues. The lenoweave is thin but strong. Just tighten the laces as much as you can and you’ll be good to go.

Only thing I have to disagree on is saying shoes like the Jordan 37 or Cut 2 are "bad", for me for example there is no such thing as too much bounce, it's just a preference, so saying they are not good based on the preferece don't seem right. Otherwise pretty solid list since they have obvious aspects that don't allow them to perform at the highest level

Totally agree. "Bad" should mean poor grip, flimsy materials, etc. Saying not to buy a shoe because it has too much bounce (which a lot of guys actually prefer) is strange.

Got the Jordan 37s. They advertised that it full length zoom air, obviously wasn't. My 36s were way better but that lanoweave forefoot on both ended up having my big toe and half my foot creating a huge hole and it had to be returned. Right now I use KD15 with the runner's knot for outdoor, and have 2 pairs of Lebron 20s for indoor.
