Fabulous!!! I think Gwen Stefani (USA) was surprised when she turned her chair to view Jason Arcilla singing Dreams. I was too. I though it was a woman singing until the chair turn! Great selection, Pure. 💝

Quite the interesting and may I say provocative grouping this 9....Kimmy June with a lovely "Jolene", a wild and idiosycratic Chinchilla doing the Screamin' Jay Hawkins classic with her own touches (and costume!) to make it memorable...but this time the "Natural Woman" from Sirghi made the progression from Parton to Ronstadt to Houston to herself seem so inevitable and powerful. Purely good work yet again from the classic nine chooser!

There wasn’t an average one in this bunch, but, for me, I was most impressed by Sheridan. He didn’t need a Seniors version to compete in, because his voice is still THAT good!! 👏👏 Many kudos again, my friend, on your spectacular work! 💁🏻♀️💕

That's an interesting collection of women with big voices, and men with softer ones. I liked Jason Arcilla's performance. He has an unusual voice, and it's one of the few times that a block actually worked. You do good work. Thank you for making and posting this.

While probably pr possibly not the most dynamic voice on this selection-- 15:22 Aliona Tsintsadze - "Без бою" (The Voice of Georgia 2022) brings to mind the Georgia singers. Of course there are so many great singers from many countries, but Georgia, almost hidden in the Caucasus Mountain on the Black Sea never fails to surprise me with some of their singing talent. This song is Nice (first impression) but builds on you, and even morso wehn you have an understanding or what she is singing about--"I wont give up without a fight". Georgia as well as Ukraine had to fight for their freedom.

I certainly agree with your comment and reply to @lemal...hard for me to touch on all the fine performances, so sometimes I do feel bad to neglect a great one like the one you showcased today.

Like that one TV show in US I once watched titled "there are 8 million stories" out there or something like that. We all know many I think, and I like to pick out 1 or 2 from time to time. (long time writer wannabe}@@dhamma58

The song is originally by Ukrainian group Okean Elzy. And the refrain Я не здамся без бою is printed on the back of their Help For Ukraine Tour T-shirts.

I also find reason to mention this song and artist. It is not one that stands out as much from the rest especially in that last position Pure saves for a really special selection. So I did a search for the Lyrics. It appears to be one that does not translate well to English, in that the translation does not pull at your heart as much as it would in the origional language. A poem turned into a song, and written by the famous Ukranian/once Voice Coach Okean Elzi. Here are the English Words I wont give up without a fight How so? How come I haven't managed To stop in time; all is clear You are with me now & forever, too late not to leave but don't leave me I will pour me, i will pour you a glass of wine If you like, with honey Wo are you? You took my life And haven't given it back Who are you? You drank my blood And fell as if drunk Your eyes, call me, want me Lead me Who are you? Whoever you may be... Chorus: I won't give up without a fight I wont give up without a fight How so? How come i have not managed To stop myself, to stop you... today I was howling when missing you today Missing you, do put something light on I will pour myself, i will pour you a glass of wine If you want, with honey Who are you? You took my life And haven't given it back Who are you? You drank my blood And fell as if drunk Your eyes, call me, want me Lead me Who are you? Whoever you may be... Chorus: I won't give up without a fight I wont give up without a fight lyricstranslate.com

There is so much here to get excited about! I especially enjoyed Kimmy June's natural vibrato with "Jolene," Jason Arcilla's and then Alexandra Sîrghi's astonishing precision with, respectively, "Dreams" and "A Natural Woman." But additionallly, I must say that every delivery before, between, and after were nigh equally impressive --- exactly what we've come to expect from *pureemotionmusic.* Happy, happy Saturday! 🌟🎵🎵🌟
