Bad advice telling people to get aftermarket speakers the way you did. You have to understand no speaker will function properly with the stock amplifier, and if you do get new speakers, you NEEED an aftermarket AMP in order for your system to work properly. Unless you’re going to blow out your speakers and not know why when it was so low…. Some speakers require different impedance levels as well meaning you definitely can’t mix and match speakers with an amp…. Please consult an expert on audio at the very least before swapping your sound system.
@BrainztormProductions3 жыл бұрын
You dont NEED an amp for speakers, especially high sensitivity speakers and a decent head unit that has a High Pass filter capability and ideally 7 band or more EQ. I had a Pioneer 80PRS with some Polk MM 6.5's and it was decent and performed good enough for most people and with sound treatment of the cabin (Doors, Parcel Shelf and Rear Firewall) its quiet enough to help the underpowered speakers, its not a need but If you want to go a few steps further, yes amping is louder and cleaner depending on amp and also gives the opportunity to run active which even further improves the sound by using time alignment but really its not necessary for 90% of people. Just a head deck, speakers, sub running off rear channels of certain pioneer decks and sound treatment can be a pleasurable enough experience.
@Creator_Veeto_PAEACP3 жыл бұрын
@@BrainztormProductions i would never do something so whack… i want to hear those pre amps… ideally you would not even need an EQ except to boost your sub.
@jordanseay2163 жыл бұрын
Uhhhhh some will. You wont have a super crazy set up on a stock amp but just a set of speakers can be run off a stock amp and head unit.
@Creator_Veeto_PAEACP3 жыл бұрын
@@jordanseay216 like I said. It would NOT sound high quality no matter how expensive your speakers are. You 100% need an aftermarket amp to dial in your system to TRULY get the experience you’re paying for. A 7 heck even 13 band EQ does not emulate the same response from preamps and good crossovers.

Hey, sorry I didn't respond sooner. It really depends on where you decide to put it in the interior. I'm not sure about a mm thickness, I think they're all generally the same size and a little flap/wedge of material comes out to a point on one side so they kind of fit in any deep crevice. @LibertyDrives3 жыл бұрын
I believe there are display gauges for most readings on the car. A buddy of mine had extra oil and rev gauges at one point I believe just because his were broken lol. They're mostly used for having a boost gauge for aftermarket forced induction but there are other ones out there if you really want the look
@prodqt39063 жыл бұрын
@@LibertyDrives yea, I’m more looking for the look rather than their actual reading purposes. And also, new to car modifications, so what gauges would be plug and play (very easy to install)?
@LibertyDrives3 жыл бұрын
I think the ease of install would depend on the car, especially the year. I haven't looked very far into what gauges are best for quick installs but it would also depend on the look you want. A lot of people go for the tri-gauge look on the inside of their a pillar but you could also have 3 gauges on the dash or single gauges.
@MTZAMIX3 жыл бұрын
@@prodqt3906 if you want a gauge to display all. It’s called a LUFI gauge and plugs into your OBD. If you want more than one gauge, they have to be wired and connected to certain points of the engine to show correct displays. You can get gauges that simply show the time, weather, how fast you’re going etc
