Same here! I'm a gun guy and authenticity is real important to me. This is the first airsoft video I ever really watched. I figured airsoft guns were mostly generic "not quite right" models of real guns. There is much more attention to real world gun models than I thought. Makes me want to get into airsoft, looks really fun. But just like the real deal, I bet airsoft is a real pricey rabbit hole.

I'd love to see an airsoft version of the German WW1 guns with the slightly curved barrels and mirrored sights (like a periscope). They used them to shoot over the tops of the trenches whilst staying in cover, in airsoft it'd be massively op.

A K31 straight bolt conversion rifle would also be really cool. You should get a giant 6 bladed drone that can lift 20kg or so, the ones for filming and install a fpv camera and the minigun on it. That would be menacing.

It would be, but it would be a waste of a beautiful and reasonably rare old rifle that is no longer in production. Perhaps if he could find a completely destroyed one, and convert that (eg one with a compromised receiver, breach etc.
