I was absolutely bullied and called names for having a baby, for quitting my career to become a stay at home mom, I was even called awful names for enjoying cooking for my husband. Society has gone a very scary and sad direction.

God Bless you Pro-Life She-Lion! You are not weak. You are strong. Being a Stay-Home-Mother is not an easy decision. But being a Mother is a Job. Motherhood is so valuable, it's priceless. Taking nothing away from Working Mothers who must be employed, Stay Home Mothers deserve the same respect as Employed Mothers. God Bless you and stay strong!

I got told by an abusive family member (I went no contact with) that I was “ruining my life” when I was pregnant and chose to not “get rid of” my child like this person was trying to pressure me into doing. Our society is often awful to mothers and children and it’s heartbreaking 💔

@WholeWhiteBaby They are attacks on babies, but they feel pain by the 12th week. Pain isn't what makes you human anyway, & many adults don't feel pain. After 12 weeks is just an added layer of brutality.

@vashmatrix5769 you just call it an attack...but it isnt one... And the vast majority of abortions are performed by a pill, well before 12 weeks.... Late-term, is the least common abortion type....the experience of the fewest fetuses, past 12 weeks - thats a valid reason to ban abortion, at any point....regardless of what is experienced, or what entity is aborted...?

Abortion is the intentional termination of human life without due process of law as required under the fifth and 14th amendments of the US Constitution. No other law or interpretation by the Supreme Court is needed. Life itself is not a state right or a federal right; it is an inalienable right given to us by our Creator. States have no more right to decide the question of abortion then they do the question of slavery which is prohibited by the 13th Amendment. Likewise, the taking of human life without due process of law under the 5th and 14th amendments is prohibited by the Federal Constitution. States cannot make laws that violate article 6 of The Constitution which says the Federal Constitution is supreme over any state constitution. Legally, it's all very simple and covered by civics 101, basic constitutional law. Due process clause of the fifth Amendment, the 14th Amendment applied to the states and the Supremacy Clause (article 6). All state Constitutional amendments for abortion are unconstitutional. The people of the states have no authority to vote on said state Constitutional amendments. Scientifically, human life begins at human conception and that no other developmental point, like when the heart beats, does human life begin. The fertilization by a human sperm of a human egg is when human life begins. Therefore, all Constitutional due process rights attach at the moment of conception and not during any developmental process after conception. Katherine Adelaide, JD Maryland

There's no proof of a creator, so to claim that life is a right given to us by one is an unproven claim. Due process and the 14th Amendment apply to born individuals and legal people, which unborn people are not 1 U.S. Code § 8 Defines "person," "human being, "child"," and "individual" to include every born-alive infant member of the species homo sapiens. This is a federal law. The Supreme Court ruled that abortion rights not protected by the Constitution but belong to the States based on the 10th amendment of the Constitution, which states that any powers not explicitly given to the federal government are given to the States. If abortion rights are up to the federal government, then the Supreme Court ruling in overturning Roe v Wade was incorrect.

@@memecity9849 you’re back 🥳 I haven’t seen you spewing your inequality-promoting statements for a while. This is about the fact that the part of the law which defines a human is wrong. It’s scientifically incorrect because there is only one 100% correct condition to what makes you a human, and that’s being created a human; being conceived. Obviously you’re aware that you were still yourself when you were a fetus, and that preborn babies are living people. You just don’t care whatsoever about actual true equality. For all humans to be equal, and for laws to be fair, they need to apply to all humans. If nobody has the right to kill an innocent human because of a human’s rights to their own life, abortion should be illegal. You don’t care 🤷🏽♀️ you willfully support human inequality and it speaks

Whatever reason you get pregnant and do not want to be, how can anyone justify waiting until you are months into the pregnancy before you decide to abort it?
@tyfish991319 күн бұрын
maybe this could make it easier for you to understand, here’s a hypothetical situation: imagine a young woman. maybe 15 or 16. she lives in an extremely rural town, the closest bus stops are a few towns over. she has to walk to school because her family is poor and doesn’t own a car. one day she’s raped, and unfortunately she gets pregnant. she doesn’t want to keep the baby, she’s not ready to be a responsible mother and she also has a medical condition that makes giving birth extremely dangerous for her. she tells her parents and together they look for a clinic, but the closest one is in the next state. the abortion itself will cost around $500. the one parent she has that works makes $7 an hour at their job. the family needs time to save up the money not only for the procedure itself, but also for transportation getting there and back. hope this helps!

I would love to meet these "amazing disabled parents and ". Because, I was born blind, to blind parents and grew up in the blind community. Most of the parenting I was both exposed to myself and sore from other blind parents certainly left a lot to be desired. So yes, I have to be honest and say, I wish people would stop romanticising disabled parenting. and I wish people would stop calling people like me who have reservations about just blindly… Pardon the pun… Excepting and encouraging disabled parenting and not questioning the whole thing or having reservations about encouraging disabled people to become parents "eugenicist" and "bigots". People like me know what we are talking about because we have seen it. And frankly, it would be nice if people would actually take the reservations that people like me have around disabled parenting seriously. I wish people would stop romanticising disabled people having children. I wish people would recognise that disability does hamper your ability to carry out the duties and responsibilities of a good parent in a healthy weigh nine times out of 10. and I wish people would actually talk about what it is like for the children of disabled parents instead of always making it about the "right" of disabled adults. It really pisses me off to be honest. For the record, my disability is congenital, and I have reached the point in my life now where I'm glad I don't have children. I don't have it in my heart to knowingly run the risk of creating a child that could have to deal with the same challenges I have to deal with in life, and I don't want to run the risk of becoming the sort of parent I saw regarding blind parents growing up. and if that offends anyone… Tough biccies tiger. I don't care.

Children are created at conception. Don’t want one created with your genes? Don’t conceive. Abortion only kills humans who’ve already been created. Also, pointing out that disabled parents can be good parents doesn’t “romanticize” parenting by disabled people. It’s speaking out against systemic ableism in OB-gyn care and the common practice of bullying disabled people into forced contraception, sterilization, or abortion, or bullying parents even remotely suspected of carrying a disabled baby into aborting. You have to consider if there’s something about disability that inherently makes people incapable of raising children or if the problem is systemic ableism and the failure of our society to adequately accommodate people with disabilities. Or if you’ve taken your experience as typical for all children of disabled parents and internalized some of society’s ableism. The instinct to cry “eugenics!” is also based on our country’s own history and Margaret Sanger’s shameless promotion of eugenics, calling people like us “human weeds.” Do you think so little of yourself and your parents? How about me, who you don’t know from Eve, who had to fight against forced abortion all because of my own socioeconomic and medical status?

I have met and talked to many amazing disabled parents. Megan DeJarnett is an example. She has the same diagnosis as me, Spinal Muscular Atrophy. I see awareness of disabled parenting, not romanticizing. The reality is, the only guaranteed way to stop disabled people (or anyone) from procreating is forced sterilization. That quite literally is eugenics. I had a difficult childhood as well so I can relate to your pain. However, difficult childhood experiences will always happen to some kids. Having disabled parents doesn't mean you are guaranteed a difficult childhood anymore than having non-disabled parents means you'll have a good childhood.
