Hi, good video as usual. Anti-thief screw ..? this screwbit that you used is available in all well-stocked screwbit boxes to buy and is very common. If you want to be more sure that no one unscrews your top box..Measure your screws and buy the same diameter of ball bearing balls and tap there. Then the screw is secured..Looks forward to the next video. keep up // Rogga / Sweden 👍👍👍

Thanks, these anti-theft bolts are delivered with the rest of the pannier accessories and it's a Kawasaki invention, I personally am not afraid of the pannier's theft, so for me they may not be there.

A year ago I also trimmed my new plate. Now the case has become loose and I regret doing it. The rubber bands under the case shrink over time. If your case does not mount well to the plate, just keep it mounted all the time and it will be fine

Is the black panel and green trim really needed? I can’t fathom why those pieces are 150 total and required for just what? Customization? Sealing up holes? Could I just get the case, key, and base plate and call it a day?

OEM box is made for kawasaki by GIVI so it should.

it's funny, I have the same top box for my 2014 versys 1000, it just says GIVI on it, instead of Kawasaki. Mine were produced back in 2015 and they held up great so far. I guess it's some sort of white labeling, I think BMW does the same with their boxes, they are made by somebody else, but it just says BMW on them. So my top box is: - GIVI Monokey V47 Tech Top-Case - GIVI-V47NNT + GIVI-E251 (my base plate) + GIVI-E134S (the backrest) + GIVI-E135 (stop light kit) + GIVI-T502 (inner bag) But the panniers are a bit different though, I have the: - GIVI Monokey V35 Tech Hard Side-Cases - GIVI-V35NT + GIVI-PLXR4105 (quick release supports) + GIVI-Z2711R (support key) + GIVI-T443C (inner bag) I would recommend getting the inner bags for the boxes, they are great! Anyway, I modified mine a little bit, by adding lights :) -- kzbin.info/www/bejne/q3zTepetg9ygqdU Looking at GX16 for connectors, they seem pretty sweet.

Yes your right, these are the same cases, GIVI makes them for Kawasaki, the most interesting, givi cases are of better quality than the ones made for Kawasaki, which is embarrassing. Of course, I have inner bags for the cases and in the future I will be installing the brake light
