Hello everyone, today I discuss one of my favourite forms of magnesium - (Magtein / Magnesium L-Threonate) the only type that's been shown in studies to be absorbed directly into the brain. I've been taking this periodically for around a year, and have had some great results in improving memory, focus and sleep. A study published just this year showed how it can improve both deep and REM stages of sleep, which helps the brain to stay healthy and rejuvenate itself during the night. I hope you found this interesting. To make sure your getting the genuine ingredients, you can find the approved retailers on their official website www.magtein.com. 💚

Thank you so much for this advice. I have been saying this for years that the food we eat today is not the same as 30 years ago and therefore we do not get the goodness from food today.

Absolutely, it's also the reason food doesn't taste as good as it used to. 💚

I started taking L-threonate after watching another of your videos on supplements for memory and brain health a few months ago. It has helped in reducing my brain fog (and my fear of developing Alzheimer's.) I still cannot seem to turn off my brain when I try to sleep at night, but I will try taking it a couple of hours before bed. Thank you SO much for your videos.

I understand that magnesium glycinate will also pass through the brain barrier.
@meedy923 ай бұрын
Where did you read about that cause my mom already supplements with it & was thinking of getting this to use in day time in addition
@RyanTaylorNaturalRemedies3 ай бұрын
I don't believe glycine crosses the blood brain barrier. It's possible it can travel in through other mechanisms, but not as directly as magnesium L-threonate. 💚

The first night I started taking Magtein, I recorded the highest rate of Deep Sleep and Rem Sleep that I have experienced within the past 7 months of recording. The second night was almost as high. This association is purely observational, but I am convinced that L-Threonate is highly beneficial to improved brain health from the medical research I have done. I had taken Magtein for several years in the past with no noticeable side effects but had stopped close to a year ago.

It's a very good supplement. I use it frequently, in combination with glycinate. I sleep more deeply, and wake up naturally an hour earlier than previously, so from my own observation it's promoting better deep sleep and REM as well. Thanks for sharing your results. 💚

Your Circadian rhythm out of balance. Cortisol raised up when you get up at night which cause overthinking. I am on the same boat but able to manage my sleep with stress lowering supplements. Stress causing it. Provide more details if interested

What if you're already taking GABA supplements? Can you take GABA and Threonate on the same day, at different times?
@RyanTaylorNaturalRemedies3 ай бұрын
Hello, yes they can be taken at different times during the day. However, many GABA supplements simply dont work very well, because they don't cross the blood brain barrier like the Magnesium L-threonate. You can however get one called PharmaGABA, which is made from a fermentation process that DOES cross into the brain and nervous system. 💚
